LA VERANDA DU CHATEAU MAISON NOBLE

Beautiful, peaceful location, set overlooking the vineyards, with wonderful sunsets and starry skies. Magalie was brilliant - she answered all our questions, gave us tips on which markets to visit, showed us around the vineyard and took us through some wines to taste, all of which were excellent! Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was a welcome relief in the heatwave, as was the air conditioning in the lounge. There was even a children’s area in the house, full of toys! Everything we needed was provided and we would definitely recommend.

Part of its charm was the rustic nature of it - we had no problems with that, but others might feel it needs a little TLC in places. Also be aware that you need a car to get to the nearest supermarkets/towns, which are about 10-15mins away. Again, it didn’t bother us - we deliberately wanted that kind of isolation from the world for 2 weeks and the tranquility and nature around us well outweighed any need to be closer to civilisation.
