About this cottage rental
La Maison du Ballandreau, with an area of 450m², opens on one side onto a small street leading to the main square of the village and on the other onto its enclosed, quiet garden, with a spacious swimming pool (12m x 4m ) heated (from May 2024) and surrounded by a 1.10m high wall and a 40m² covered terrace offering a green and intimate decor.
The village of Monségur is a medieval bastide organized around a square whose hall hosts a market with delicious local products every Tuesday and Friday morning, as well as a gourmet and dancing market every Wednesday evening in the summer. Several restaurants, cafes and bars, a high-quality pastry shop (finalist in the show “La Meilleure Boulangerie de France”), an arthouse cinema, art galleries, hairdressers, a local supermarket , doctors and nurses offer a rich network of activities and services that you can enjoy less than 5 minutes from home. Also on foot, you will be able to take a very nice stroll along the banks of the Dropt.
Monségur is located in Entre-Deux-Mers with multiple attractions: its hilly landscapes of vineyards, fields, orchards and woods, its heritage and its numerous bastides, abbeys, remarkable villages and castles.
Convenient access:
• Bordeaux 1 hour by car;
• Bordeaux airports at 1h10;
• Bergerac Airport 50 minutes;
• Paris 3 hours by train (arrival at La Réole station, 15 minutes from Monségur by car).

This was a great stay in a lovely house. Sophie was wonderfully welcoming and made a special effort to show us around. The house is very well equipped and has huge charm
The house is perfectly situated in Monségur which has great restaurants and bars. There are lovely walks in town and along the walls of the Bastide and river. The town is great for visiting local sites including St Emillion and Bergerac. Highly recommended
