Better Staff at pool area

The peace and location of the lodge.

The staff in the pool area need to pay more attention and need replacing with older staff. Was not watching pool let 3 year old go up slide on his own then came down straight after my husband and kicked him in the back my husband complained to staff at pool area as the kids father was starting to kick off even thow he was not keeping an eye on his child he then got in my husbands face and threatened him all the while that the two pool staff just stood there showing each other images etc and did not intervien are try to defuse the situation they done absolutely nothing.

I over everything about this Luxury Lodge. We have came to Devon every year since I was born and I now come with my partner and two kids and We normally stay in a bog standard caravan but thought we would treat ourselves and my goodness it didn’t disappoint! It was so spacious! So clean, so comfy, so lovely decorated. It was just amazing. We were also welcomed with bread, milk, cereal, tea bags, sugar! We absolutely loved it. So Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic large with everything you need and perfect location

Superb Lodge to stay in super comfy beds and sofas and the kitchen was more than fully equipped and the Lovely hamper was a real special treat. And the added bonus of the TVs in both rooms after a busy day. Also a lovely large decking area it was so quiet and peaceful. Hoburne site was amazing very well kept and the staff for lovely and helpful, the outdoor pool was fantastic. We had it all to ourselves. There is an open top double-decker shuttle bus that runs on the half hour right outside the park straight into Paignton takes four minutes, fantastic service and you can catch the train into Torquay. We will definitely be returning the location is just perfect to explore with Goodrington beach only a 15 minute walk away aswell.

Lovely spacious lodge, very clean and tidy. Really good instructions from the host. Nice hamper on arrival which was an added surprise.

Great Venue

When we arrived at the Lodge. We were absolutely overwhelmed at the size and condition of it. We couldn't believe it. The site and the Lodge itself was spotless. The Reception and the facilities on the Main Site were exactly as advertised on the website. There was a Stagecoach bus service every half hour. Free with our England Pension pass, to Torquay and beyond. Will definitely be booking again.

I have been visiting this caravan site for over 30 years and this was by far the best accommodation We have stayed in.

The communication with the host was exceptional, very easy to follow their instructions and with quick responses to any query. The lodge was very clean and tidy with lots of lovely touches to make it feel home from home. When we got into bed the first night the bed sheets smelt of lovely washing powder. All the little bits and pieces we sometimes forget were already there, bath mats, kitchen foil, cooking oil, dishwasher tablets etc. When we arrived they had very kindly left us a little hamper with bread, cereal and pastries, also milk in the fridge. You could tell that thought and care had been put into this stay by the host.

I didn’t like that I had to leave at the end of my holiday - I could’ve stayed there forever !! :)

We enjoyed every single aspect of our little holiday. The lodge was extremely clean and tidy and in a beautiful location.

Signs to the beach on foot weren't as clear as they could be but it wasn't too hard to find the way with the use of Google maps.

Lodge was perfect for our stay. Very clean and in excellent condition. We loved that a loaf of bread and milk had been left for us on arrival. Lodge is in a great position and very private. Perfect sun spot out on the decking. Site and location excellent. We had a great family stay.

Exceptional

Great location, and beautiful lodge with everything you need, even nice touch coming into lodge with Milk, Cereal and few other bits saves nipping supermarket 1st thing. 5 min walk to bus stop, ideal for trips to brixham, Paignton and Torquay. The lodge was very spacey and had plenty of room with 4 adults and 2 kids aged 10 and 13. Easy to get in touch with host through booking.com or what's app, and replied very quick. Would recommend to anyone coming to Devon. Brilliant stay
