Great condo with lots of space and centrally located in Poipu. A friend and I stayed for a week and it was nice to have a home away from home. It should be noted the upstairs bedroom is a loft, so if you are staying with multiple people, only the main bedroom will provide privacy, but for the two of us, it worked out perfectly. There is plenty of shopping right across the street and Poipu Beach is a short drive/walk/bike. It was great to have coolers, beach chairs, and even a surfboard for all of your beach activities, which made day trips easy and enjoyable.

This was a nice enough place to stay that has many positives and just a few negatives. Great location central to Poipu. Nice and clean complex that has a nice little pool that is great for cooling off after a long day at the beach or hiking. Good kitchen and overall a clean place. Just some things to be aware. This is a third floor unit so that is what it is. Beds we’re little uncomfortable especially upstairs. Bedding was a little lacking. Coolers and umbrella provided were broken. Just a few small things. Overall the stay was nice

We had the most amazing stay at this property, 10/10! The place was, beautiful, comfortable for 4 of us(two teens) and it was cool(amazing AC). It felt like vacationing in a tree house. The management team was efficient and communicative. We had access to a beautiful salt water pool on site and an athletic club 2 min down the road. Shops were in walking distance and more shops were about a 5 minute drive in each direction. This place felt like a home away from home and we will absolutely be staying here again!

Lovely high ceilinged apartment with loft in close proximity to town and beaches. Easy walking into town or a short drive to other beaches. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Having access to club pool and other facilities was a great bonus. This is one of the nicest in Poipu and even within Waikomo Stream Villas!

The fact that we were so close to the beach and local markets was so cool. The loft and space were excellent. Washer and dryer. Just everything was so nice. And the cherry on top. I was able to work out at th athletic club first thing in the morning. And on our last day we swam at the pool with a slide and had great food. I will definitely stay again!!

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The rooms are very spacious. My kids loved the salt pool. The property is very pretty and had a lot of lush greenery. The property is also very near to Poipu beach. We used the poipu athletic club membership that was included, and we had a wonderful time at the pickleball courts.

We had a wonderful stay here! The grounds are amazingly beautiful! Great communication and an easy, seamless process in and out. The kitchen had everything that one could desire and it was well stocked with bedding, towels, beach equipment, Etc. My son stayed in the lower level master bedroom and he did notice that there were frequent sounds of people talking and, of course, the roosters crowing, outside the windows which only had screens and could not be closed to shut out the noise. Possible areas for improvement: The comforter upstairs in the Loft was outdated, the mattress on the pull-out couch was definitely well used, as were the pads that were provided to put on the pull-out couch mattress. Also I would suggest cleaning out the air conditioner in The Loft because when we turned it on it blew dead bugs and dust onto the bed. I'm not super squeamish so I took it in stride because it's a tropical environment after all. Overall it was really a lovely stay and I would stay there again and recommend it!

Overall was a lovely space with loft, back patio, coffee machine, and kitchen. Walkable to lovely beaches as well. Had some smaller issues with cockroaches, touch pad not working (but back up key was great!), drainage in the showers -- but we were out so much that these areas didn't matter much!

Family of 5 :3 adults and 2 children found this place to be a very comfortable home away-from-home. The apartment had everything what we needed to make it comfortable stay. Location was great. So close to a best beach and to shopping centers. We would consider staying here again. Thank you.

The physical property and location are very good. If everything paid for had been addressed before arrival many issues would have been resolved. Imagine arriving and through use, discovering the A/C was not working, internet was not working, cable TV set up is different than instructed with no human to address these problems because answering machines don’t respond. Had the property been inspected thoroughly by management prior to prepaid occupation, particularly when management was aware of A/C problems , why was there no communication prior to arrival is questionable at best. Portable A/C left in room is not 5 star solution. The guests solution open all windows for island breeze enjoyment and adjust ceiling fans. Only downside to solution was constant road noise and sounds of roosters 24/7. Those 3am rooster alarms were unique to open windows. Management did offer a discount but bad math and poor execution took up too much guest time. Again the property itself was very good and well appointed. I question property management and real commitment to providing advertised 5 star experience understanding the limitations of VRBO properties.

Waikomo Springs lived up to all the expectations of the community. The well kept grounds that had a pool for all ages, BBQ area next to flowing stream, nearby shopping center/restaurants, access to Poipu Athletic Club, easy access to Port Allen (Boat cruises)/Kipu 4 wheeler tours/Lihue, and rear property access to the beach made it a tropical oasis with most of the comforts close by. Unfortunately, the unit that we rented was hot, smelled like mold, and the MBR ceiling fan rattled. The refrigerator trim had mold on it, and the water heater sounded like a bomb ticking toward detonation. We were not notified before we arrived of all these issues by the management company (Koloa Kai) or the owner of the unit. We were notified that the AC could not be fixed until the 7th day of our 8 day stay. I hope this was an anomaly and no one else will be treated this poorly. All it served to do was leave a bad taste for Kauai/Hawaii for ruining my wife's bucket list to go to Hawaii and our 25th wedding anniversary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waikomo Stream Villas. The space is much larger than it appears in the photos. Everything was top of the line -- from furnishings to the bedding and towels and the kitchen was well stocked so we could prepare meals there. We loved sitting out on the beautiful porch surrounded by nature. A huge perk was the use of the nearby Athletic Club which has a fitness facility with a large variety of weights as well as a beautiful pool and pickleball courts. The pool right near the property was wonderful as well. The location, just a short walk to Poipu beach, was ideal. We highly recommend this rental!

The place was very nice and comfortable. Easy to get to, lots of trees and greenery, very pretty setting. We had some trouble figuring out the TV function. A cheat sheet informing guests how to turn it on and get channels would have been very helpful. The only downside to the property was the roosters that started crowing at 5 in the morning (or earlier). Didn't expect that and realize there isn't anything the owner could do about it.

Family of 5 with children aged 16, 13 and 9. The condo was big enough for us all. Location was great with shopping within walking distance and short drive to Poipu Beach. Only thing I would comment is the mattress in main bedroom that to our taste, was far too soft.

It was a great place to stay. Convenient location. Great amenities… enjoyed the pool and access to the athletic club. Excellent host communication. Given the “jungle like” environment / rain we did have few bugs to contend with and we had to wipe down dead bugs off the counter tops, furniture, and picked up off the floor. Other than we enjoyed our stay here and would surely book again.

We loved our stay! The condo was spacious and had everything…from kitchenware to boogie boards. The location was perfect…right across the street from shops and Laperts ice cream,..and Poipu Beach was less than a mile away! The washing machine didn’t really work… but that was explained in the property directions beforehand. Other than that, we had a great time!
