We have chosen to stay during our marathon week in a safety neighbourhood and not so quite far away from downtown. The location is perfect in each direction you take - is quite central between Logan square , Rosemont factory outlet and to downtown. The flat is perfect equipped with all what you need - from the kitchen till bedroom - everything is offered! Only the bathroom was not quite so clean as we arrived (that’s why I give a 5 star minus) 🙂 The contact and support from our host was the BEST. Thank you Demitri for all!!

Check-in was confusing due to an incorrect lockbox, but the host quickly clarified. Be aware, this is a 3rd-floor walk-up with a strong cigarette odor in the stairwell, which was an issue for my asthma and a challenge with heavy bags. The unit is lovely and matches photos, though window AC units and lack of blackout shades in the bedroom (waking me at 5 AM) were unexpected. The fire alarm battery was removed, and I had to replace it. Smoke often entered the unit. Cookware was minimal (only a small saucepan and frying pan). On the plus side, the neighborhood was perfectly located for bus access and walking, with a fantastic Polish grocery nearby. Overall, I recommend this unit for its convenience, but the host really needs to address safety (fire alarm) and properly disclose all unit features (walk-up, AC, shades, cookware) to manage guest expectations.
