About this cottage rental
Enjoy the charm of this cottage home. Located among the many attractions of downtown and within an easy drive to the beaches. This home makes for the perfect spot to enjoy everything Wilmington has to offer. Everything in this home is new from the furnishings to the house which was built 5 yrs ago...
HOUSE:
Our home is 2 stories and the main floor has an open floor plan, the living room has a 55" Tv and an electric fireplace. The dining area seats 6 people and 4 barstools at the bar. The kitchen if modern and very spacious which opens to the dining and living room area. The Master bedroom is located down from the kitchen on the main floor and has a lovely ensuite with a walk-in shower. There is a half bath on the main level and a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer for your convenience. Upstairs is another full bath with tub. There are two bedrooms upstairs both have queen beds, side tables, a luggage rack and the lamps have usb charging ports on the back of them. All bedrooms have pillows, comforters, sheets and accent pillows and towels will be provided for each guest.
PARKING:
We have one off street parking but there are no close neighbors so the road is very secluded and there is plenty of parking on the street. We are located close to downtown but you feel as if you are in your own little oasis within the city limits. Rare find this close to downtown.
Families with kids will love our location, because right next door is a lovely playground/park that's hardly occupied and it feels like it is your very own.
A perfect place to escape and relax. Curl up on the sofa with your hot beverage or on the porch. Light a fire in the fire pit out back and roast some mallows. Whatever you do in our home I am sure you will enjoy how cozy and inviting it is.
We are also a short distance to Greenfield Lake which has walking trails for you to enjoy. If you don't feel like walking the trails ride a bike or rent a paddle boat and paddle around the lake for a lovely time. There is also a place to get a drink, listen to music and grab a bite to eat.
Also, we are about a mile and a half walk to downtown and a 10-15 min drive to the local beaches. Walk down our street to a cute coffee-shop/mini grocery store called Bodega. It's a tiny corner store that has take n bake food as well as beer and wine. This place is also a great place to walk to in the mornings and grab your coffee or tea and sit outside in their lovely sitting area. It’s just perfect.
We are also walking distance to some very popular places to grab a bite or a drink. Walk to Benny's Big Time Pizzeria, True Blue Butcher and Barrel, Satellite Bar and Lounge, The Second Glass, Mariposa Tapas Bar, The Harp Irish Pub. Block Taco. A very fun area to check out while you visit and all within walking distance so no worrying about having to drive or find parking. I hope you enjoy your stay with us. Safe Travels.

Photos are very accurate and house is clean. Communication with owner via app was good. Check-in a breeze and check-out, while it had a few requirements, was clearly communicated. House worked well for us (close to downtown and we had a car to get around). Neighborhood is okay - a bit transitional and it is steps from the train which whistled nightly at 10 pm. Be sure to check out Greenfield Park and the South Front area which is just 2 blocks away - several great restaurants and an awesome bar. (I believe the train info is in the description so it wasn’t a surprise).

Our overall experience of the cottage was positive. The location was convenient to downtown and restaurants/entertainment. The space was comfortable.
The host was responsive and seemed to genuinely care about her guests.
