We were in unit 9NJ - recently beautifully remodeled and very nicely appointed. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed but was honestly not set up with an expectation that guests would be cooking much. We really mostly made breakfast and snacks and ate out at night. If you go to Cozumel, definitely have at least one dinner at Guido’s (we ate there THREE nights of 7) which is walking distance from the condo (~20 min down the street). Grocery store (super market with emphasis on SUPER) is basically across the street from condo. You don’t need a car except to go to the other side of the island for a beach excursion. Highly recommend it this place.

We had a wonderful family vacation at El Cantil. The staff was super, the restaurant great, and the location was perfect for us. It gave us the chance to see a real Mexican Christmas which was wonderful for the kids. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They arranged all our trips, made dinner reservations, and saw to it that nothing went wrong.
The swimming from the beach can be a little difficult for younger children, but all in all it was great. The condo was very spacious, clean and well decorated.
We loved it; hope to get back again sometime.

We have stayed at El Cantil ten days a summer in each of the last five years. As a long time veteran of Cozumel (25 years of diving), El Cantil is the best in terms of accomodations and location.
