About this house rental
Las Iguanas is a super large oceanfront villa located just north of downtown Cozumel. It's location both on the ocean and close to town is perfect for those who want to enjoy oceanfront living without being 20 or more minutes out of town.
The villa has three levels, two of which have the bedrooms and common areas of the house. The third is the oceanfront level and includes an outdoor bar, a fresh-water shower, access to a large man-made beach, the pool and, of course, the ocean. The ocean surrounding the villa is filled with a beautiful coral reef, offering awesome underwater life viewing and snorkeling.
From the street, you'll walk into the second level. Immediately, you'll notice how large the space is. This common area has a section with comfortable couches and cable TV, a full-size pool table, a dining room with seating for eight, access to the kitchen, and a small desk area where you can comfortably catch up on email.
The kitchen has all the amenities you might need to make fabulous meals - major and small appliances, purified drinking water, and pots & pans. Off of the kitchen is also one of the four bedrooms. This bedroom has a full size and twin bunk bed combination and a private bath with a walk in shower. It's perfect for the kids or teenagers in your group to share. A second bedroom is located on this level as well. This bedroom is a bit larger, has a queen size bed and a large private bathroom.
From the second level, you'll also have access to an outside dining area, where you can enjoy an early morning breakfast before heading to the ocean or pool for some sunbathing and swimming.
On the 3rd level is where you'll find the remaining two bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms has one king and one full size bed and private bathrooms with walk in showers. These two bedrooms have wrap-around windows from which you can watch beautiful sunsets and wake up to the sounds of the waves. This level also has access to the large outdoor deck.
Perhaps the most defining feature of this property is the huge ocean frontage. There is a man-made beach, steps leading to the dock from where you can jump in the water, a big pool with loungers, and an outdoor eating area with seating for six that hangs precariously at the edge of the ocean. There's even an outdoor bar where you can amaze the rest of your group with your signature margarita recipe.
With room for twelve guests, this house the perfect way to really Enjoy Cozumel with a group of friends or extended family.

We booked a surprise vacation for my sisters 50th birthday for 8 people over New Years. The vacation rental company and the local property management company were both 5 star amazing! We received so much information ahead of time to help plan our stay and activities.
The property is perfectly located at the beginning of “Zona Norte” (condo buildings in the north area). We were able to get a taxi very easily and usually within a quick few minutes. The area is quiet and the views were of dreams that became reality.
The house is spacious and each bedroom has its own private bathroom. None of the bedrooms adjoin walls so there’s an added level of privacy. The house has waterless hot water heaters so there’s never issue with an unwanted cold shower (however there can be a brief 30 second to 1 minute stop of water as the unit kicks in, nothing earth shattering). The common area is big and we never felt cramped. There are so many outdoor areas to enjoy the view, read a book, listen to the waves, bask in the saltwater pool or snorkle in the water right in front of the property. Again, we always had plenty of space.
The house is beautiful and traditional Hacinda, which is exactly what we wanted.
The local property management company is bend over backwards amazing. Victor gave perfect recommendations when we asked about getting food delivered and was a godsend helping us rent jeeps and to reserve a horseback riding outing. Housekeeping came daily and she is charming. The pool was drained and filled twice during the week, and he comes quite early so there was never an inconvenience. Everyone was so kind and personable.
Without hesitation I would recommend this property, the rental company and the property management company. It’s a trifecta win win win!

Loved the view! The pool was very nice. We spent a lot of time in the back by the water and in the pool. The house is spacious. It’s located north of town but taxis are easy to come by and pretty cheap. Would definitely stay here again!

Las Iguanas is truly an Ocean Oasis! We were a group of 8 adults and this house fit our needs perfectly!
This location is excellent for many reasons! It is close enough to downtown that you can walk, or take a short cab ride for only $3-$4; it has ocean access to some of the BEST snorkeling anywhere; the ocean activity made it fun waving to boats and talking with other snorkelers swimming by; and the VIEWS ARE STUNNING!!! Being right on the coral reef, we did a lot of snorkeling right from the backyard! We also enjoyed the many amenities of a fully supplied kitchen, billiards, the pool, outdoor bar, volleyball, cooking, grilling out, the many decks, and again the stunning views!!! The outdoor shower was also perfect to rinse off before going into the house. The house was very spacious and comfortable! Plenty of room for more!
We came for our 30th Anniversary and we renewed our vows with our family and friends. We held the ceremony down by the ocean on the covered patio which we decorated! After the ceremony, it was so much fun dancing and waving to all the boats and ships passing by! We also hired Chef Fernando to cook dinner, and requested he bring a bartender. The food was EXCELLENT and the bartender he brought was awesome! They both tended to our every need! After dinner we swam in the pool and snorkeled in the ocean! That evening we went downtown to the Square for Family Fiesta night, which happens every Sunday night. It was so fun joining the locals in their fiesta with live music! This day was perfect and the property was the perfect setting for our 30th Anniversary Vow Renewal!!
We met a few of the staff members who were all very friendly and helpful! If we had a question or needed anything Victor was quick to respond!! Also, the daily maid service was superb!!!
We absolutely love this place and it was very hard to leave! We look forward to our next visit and will again be renting Las Iguanas!
