Great location near Kalpetta. The resort itself is set in a nice jungle atmosphere. The dinner we had there was very good. The staff were very kind and helpful both on our arrival and when we decided we wanted to move hotels.
The hotel facilities and cleanliness didn't match the price. This was one of the more expensive properties we stayed at during our stay in Kerala. We were really looking forward to staying at the resort, but ended up being quite disappointed. The rooms could really do with a refresh, and unfortunately, they were not very clean. The bathroom in particular needed renovating. There was hot water, which was great, but you could smell the gas coming out of the hot water heater, which was a bit worrying. To top it all off, there was a loud group of young men staying at the resort the same night as us. They set off fireworks and played very loud music. Not what we were expecting from a quiet jungle resort.
