Good value for money and great location!
The location of the property was great: half an hour from central Cardiff and forty minutes from the nearest beach (Barry Island). It also has a Londis close by so if you arrive in the evening and need anything you can pop round. The bedding and towels were lovely and fresh, and the beds were very comfortable. We also appreciated the Smart TV as the terrestrial tv signal could be a little patchy. The facilities overall were good, and it was nice to have the whole house to ourselves despite only renting one of the three rooms, so great value for money!
We struggled with the blinds in the property. Some were broken and did not close properly, but our main issue was that they were opaque so the sun filtered through very easily and woke us up incredibly early. There were a couple of issues with cleanliness--nothing major but for example there was a large patch of water in the bathroom when we arrived by the sink. I'm not sure what the policy is regarding toiletries in the property but when we arrived there was no toilet roll so perhaps purchase some before you arrive if you are going to arrive very late to the property. There is a parking space on the drive but it is quite small and awkward so you may have to park on the surrounding roads if you have a larger car.
