Cozy, cute, and quirky!
Wish there would have been a bit more lighting in our room. No overhead light in the front bedroom, and working lights were dim due to lightbulb choices. One or two more substantial table lamps and or floor lamp would have been perfect.

Really lovely location. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great boutique style room and loved the whole decor theme of the hotel. The room was impeccably clean aswell as bathroom.
The only thing is the bed was extremely hard, but also only having brighter lights in the bathroom - which made it quite hard to get ready with shorter days with sunlight.

The staff was friendly and accommodating! The place was well kept and esthetically pleasing.
The breakfast could have been a bit better. It was nice to have it delivered to my room. But it's basically just all bread. They could add cheese or some fruit or boiled egg or something.

I cannot see how this hotel does not have a higher star rating. Overall it was exceptional and we would definitely stay there again.
Would have been good if the shower rose was mounted higher in the tub so we could stand more easily when showering, however the tub was HUGE and was put to g yood use during our stay

The decor was stunning!! Very comfortable big bed and lots of room and storage space. A charming view out our 6th floor window. It was a joy to come home to each day!! A lovely area with many excellent eateries.
The tiny lift was charming but dependent on the previous user closing the door, so not always reliable. We would have liked an electric jug in the room.

The hotel is well located , near Montmartre (take bus line 40 and you will be there without walking up the hill), Opera and galleries Lafayette. A very quiet neighborhood but not very easily accessible for taxis and uber. Few metres away is R. des Martyrs where you can find any kind of store you want, they stay open all day, 7/7. Also 2 metro stations are 7-10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The bathroom was the best part of the room, it was all new, well designed and with clean towels.
The building is really old (build at 1896 off course not in its in original form), the carpet in stairs has holes in it and in the rooms there is a heavy smell that makes you feel they are not clean. All the furniture are really old , not by choice, although the bed was rather comfortable. The bathroom was good but the window above the toilet is transparent and the neighbors can see you. There is no air-conditioning, but maybe more important there is no fridge in the room.
There is an elevator in the building, but...there isn't! No i 'm not mistaking, the elevator must be the original one , reeeealy old , 2 persons can't be in it at the same time.
Last but not least, the decoration. Dark colors everywhere and photos of Lui magazine (the French Penthouse i guess) with not totally dressed girls. See the photos in my review. The last one is the picture over our bed. French people in general are very tolerant and don't have any problem with the way someone dresses. But the hotel isn't just for French people , families with small children or people from more strict religions may not feel comfortable with the decoration.

Would add a kettle to the room

We had the best balcony with a great view! The bed was comfortable and we slept really well. The room was spacious. Loved the location - very safe and beautiful surroundings.
It was really dark in the room (the walls are painted in dark colours). The room could use a little touch up. There were ants in the room.

Clean linen, spacious rooms & bathrooms
No A/C, No basic facilities such as no kettles/iron in the room. We have to ask for them. We did not have shower cubicles.

Great location with many bars and restaurants close by, easily walkable to Montmarte and two train stations also close by.
Bathroom was large, felt recently refurbished and clean.
We stayed during some very warm weather, but it was near impossible to cool our room down being on the top story and in direct sunlight most of the day. This made it really hard to sleep at night. A fridge in the room would have been great.
We also stayed for four nights and our room was only serviced once during this time - given the price point of this hotel I expected this to be a little better and more effort be made to get to rooms when guests are out during the day.

Super quiet street but very close to eveything. Property has a very specific style and fits perfectly to the Pigalle area.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and friendly staff. The eclectic decor adds to your Paris experience. We ended up adding breakfast on both days and it was just perfect the fact that it is available until 12 is brilliant as we were not early risers on this trip 😂❤️The staff couldn’t have been more helpful looking after us🇫🇷
Nothing was exactly what we needed for our trip ❤️

Fantastic boutique hotel, very quirky and cool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area was perfect for us, 10 minute walk to Montmatre and Pigal. We had tickets to see the Moulin Rouge and were able to walk from the hotel and back.
There were so many places to eat, literally 5 minutes from the hotel. It was a longer walk of about 25 minutes down to the busier, touristy attractions like Eiffel Tower, but you can also get the Metro from Pigal, which was a 5-minute walk away. Our room was more spacious than I thought it would be, and there was a second bedroom for my daughter with a single bed, which was also a decent size too. A nice feature was the lovely big shutters to open with a nice view.
If you struggle with stairs, it's maybe not the hotel for you, There is a small elevator which was very rustic but very narrow. The elevator added to the charm of the boutique hotel but not really suitable if you need wheel chair access.
We got an Uber from the airport as we got in late, which was only 39 euros, which was pretty good.
I would definitely go back to stay there, and hopefully soon. Paris was an amazing place to visit.
We had no complaints at all. Everything was fantastic!

Location is great.
We asked for a twin room as I am a female travelling with female colleague/friend and this looked from the photos to be a well-located, chic hotel. We tried to check in at 2.30pm, having been told we could check in anytime after 2pm, but rang the bell and waited for 15 minutes outside a locked door, so eventually had to go away and return later. Our room (61) was made up as a double even though we had specifically asked for twin beds and booked this hotel because it offered twin beds. I immediately asked reception if it could be changed and was told no. I then asked for 2 single duvets if the bed could not be split, and was given only one. The next morning I asked again to have the beds split, as on looking, found they were able to be separated and was told by the new receptionist that of course we could have the beds split, did we check in late as they are always happy to always do it. Basically the receptionist we had asked on check-in clearly couldn't be bothered to do it! The room decor was awful and sleazy - dark red and black walls with pornographic wallpaper, "arty" photos of half-dressed women in suggestive poses and a metal chain curtain - really embarrassing for my colleague who is Muslim and for me who had booked it. There was no warning of this anywhere on the hotel website or Booking.com and no other room we could change to. No amenities in the room like a safe, a fridge or tea/coffee equipment or supplies. No shower curtain, only a bath with a hand-held shower. Small bath towels, and very uncomfortable lumpy pillows. No sound-proofing between us and other rooms. The photos make it look very sophisticated and chic - but it is totally overpriced with poor customer service, and I can't imagine if you had children in this room with the wallpaper!! I am no prude but not in good taste, especially if there is no warning and you think you are booking a nice hotel.

- The staff was very helpful with everything, they were all friendly and reactive with everything I needed during my stay.
- The location of the hotel is quite central yet very quiet which I loved, with many Parisian attractions within a 15/20min walk or a few subway stops.
- The bathroom was surprisingly large, like 2/3 of the size of the bedroom, it was nice.
- The lift was particularly small as in, I could barely fit with a large suitcase but this is quite common in older Parisian buildings so not the hotel fault at all.
- I wish they had curtains that keeps some sunlight and privacy in, it was either blacked out curtains all day or no curtains at all neighbours/pedestrians being able to see every thing happening in your room.
- I booked a room with a double bed, but had 2 twin beds put together so they kept moving during the night and created a gap between both beds

Good location, friendly staff, traditional furnishings.
Noisy at night for the rooms on the street, and the pillows were not very comfy. Would have also liked a fridge or iron in the bedroom, as well as coffee or tea - there was a kettle and cups but nothing to put in it.

The hotel is really nice itself. Interesting decoration 😄 Thumbs up for the cleanliness 👍👍👍Location is not entirely close to Opera; more like Pigalle, Anvers, Saint Georges but accessible but different metro so nothing to complain.
The room is a bit smaller than in the picture and if your room is close to the hallway, you pretty much hear everything: elevator, people walking, talking. So soundproof is quite a minus.
