Der Ort der Unterkunft ist wirklich fantastisch. Mit dem Balkon hat man eine perfekte Aussicht auf den See und man kann das Frühstück in der Morgensonne umgeben von Grün genießen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist vollkommen ausreichend. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht, und ist für eine Ferienwohnung ganz gut in Schuss. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr groß und bieten mit den Schranken sehr viel Platz zum Verstauen der Urlaubskleidung. Das Bad war auch sehr in Ordnung, auch wenn es nur eine Badewanne ohne Duschkabine gibt. Die Lage ist wirklich toll. Es gab viele Tage, an denen wir das Auto stehen lassen könnten, da man zu Fuß ganz gut zur Fähre in Menaggio kommt. Man läuft zwar an der Straße entlang, aber bis auf ein kurzer Stück geht es einen Gehweg.

Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist eng und sehr gewunden. Mit einem mittelgroßen Auto kommt man aber noch ganz gut hoch und wenn man nur ein- oder zweimal am Tag fährt, hat es uns nicht gestört. Eine Duschabtrennung für die Badewanne wäre auch hilfreich, aber im knien hat es auch so geklappt.

As nice as the views were, whatever you do, if you do not have a car and a small car at that, DO NOT stay at this location. I repeat DO NOT! Getting to and from this apartment was an absolute nightmare without a car. We first took an hour plus bus ride from Como which was as expected. But then after getting off the bus we had to walk 30 minutes to get to the apartment with all of our bags. Half of which was on a road with no sidewalk and the other half was the straight uphill grass/gravel driveway. Then the days we were there we had to walk either 25 min to mennagio or 35 min to caddenabia for the ferry. The walk wasn't awful during the day with no bags, but it was worse coming back at night. Taxis and Ubers were almost impossible to find. The host did have a list of numbers which was helpful once we got to the location, but they would have been helpful before checkin. To get back to Como we hired a taxi since it was raining which cost 130 euros. The driveway has such tight turns that the driver struggled to get up. The shower head also did not work in the tub so we were only able to take baths. While out of the control of the host, there was an extremely large spider that we had to kill. As someone who has been to Lake Como several times, please trust me, the views of this place are not worth it if you dont have a car. However, if you have a car and want someone more secluded it would be a fine option.
