According to legend, Njörd is the Germanic god of water.
A high-quality, tastefully furnished, non-smoking Frisian cottage awaits you for your relaxing vacation in NORDEN-NORDDEICH, in a beautiful, low-traffic location.
The first floor features a large living-dining area with tile floors and underfloor heating. There’s also a wood-burning stove for cozy evenings on the XXL couch and the comfortable armchair, along with cozy blankets. For fun evenings together, games, books, and a CD player are available. There’s also a large LCD TV on the first floor.
You’ll find everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen. Here you’ll find, for example, a dishwasher, microwave, oven, contact grill, refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, Nespresso capsule machine with an electric milk frother, toaster, blender, egg cooker, electric kettle, baking utensils, and much more.
Of course, a washing machine and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board, are provided.
On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed and direct access to the garden and the private east-facing terrace. All bedrooms are equipped with roller blinds and standard mattresses and mattress protectors, ensuring you’ll enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Additional blankets and a selection of pillows are also available. The upper bedroom, the window in the hallway, and the lower bathroom have mosquito screens.
A spacious shower room with a low threshold, including a sauna (for 3–4 people), a toilet, a towel dryer with heated floors, and a recliner, is also located on the first floor. You’ll find a hair dryer in both bathrooms. The beautiful, large southwest-facing terrace, which opens onto a lawn, is furnished with 6 chairs with cushions, a large table, and a parasol. You’ll find another small table with 2 chairs inside the wooden house.
With the phone, which includes a free DSL internet connection, you can also make free calls to German landlines (excluding calls that incur charges). Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
On the upper floor, there are 2 additional bedrooms. One room is equipped with a double bed and a TV, and the other room has 2 single beds. There is also another bathroom with a low-entry shower and a toilet on this floor. The upper floor has laminate flooring.
A travel crib and a high chair are available free of charge for our younger guests. A stair gate (Geuther) is also provided.
The washing machine is located in a separate storage room. The dryer is in the upper bathroom.
The house features a large garden with a wooden shed. Here you’ll also find a grill and grilling supplies. You can park your bicycles in the bike racks or, if it rains, in the wooden shed.
A parking space is also included with the rental.
Pets are not allowed.
Norddeich is approximately 3 km away. It’s easily accessible by bike via bike paths.
Right next door is the “Friesenstern” accommodation, which can be booked in addition if you need more space.
