I bought this mh 2 years ago for the love of the light present on the island. Few reviews on the site, because rented and lent to the family. The location of the mobile home is ideal on the campsite, which offers nature and proximity to the sea. Charming mobile home (32m2), fully equipped. 6 pers, 3 bedrooms. Quiet, wooded and family campsite. The mobile home is at the end of a very well placed driveway; quiet in "the trees" and little traffic. The mh is modern, comfortable and very clean.
Outdoor swimming pools, playgrounds, activities offered and snacks (regular food trucks that offer their meals).
Near the center of La Cotinière, charming port of the island. All shops (bakery, super fishmongers, mini-market, gift shops,...) 8 minutes walk away. Bike shops for rent. Very dynamic port. Many day or night and craft markets and all over the island as well. The 14th of July festival is magnificent.
The ocean is at the exit of the campsite, a fine sandy beach. I recommend sunrises and sunsets!! One or two kilometres away, you will find the superb beaches of Oléron (supervised), where swimming is allowed. A free shuttle bus takes you in front of the campsite entrance, criss-crosses the whole island and drops you off wherever you want. Many beautiful places to visit, very long cycle paths to discover, salt marshes, the bird island... Discover the salt harvest, oyster farming, good restaurants specialising in fish and seafood, the famous Eglade (or eclade) of mussels.
Fort Boyard is 30 minutes away, boats take you there.
Equipment of the mobile home: new and protected bedding, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, senseo coffee maker, crockery and utensils numerous. Terrace, arbour, plancha, high chair, cot etc. Possibility to rent sheets and toiletries on request.
Flat rate 40€ for the cleaning requested, because a person comes to do the cleaning (disinfect) after the rentals, but cannot spend two hours. Thus, you are asked to leave the accommodation clean (kitchen, toilets, fridge and floor cleaned) when you leave and to empty the rubbish. From 4 nights rental accepted, to be discussed together/dates. A discount can be made from 8 nights min. To be discussed together. A host welcomes you on your arrival and departure.
