About this apartment rental
Cozy apartment with terrace in Piazza Dante, in the heart of Genoa.
The apartment, located on the second floor of the famous Torre Piacentini and accessible by elevator, has been recently renovated and custom furnished. It opens onto an open space that includes the fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle, an espresso coffee machine and a dining table, and the living room furnished with a double sofa bed, a TV and a desk. From here, guests can access the terrace furnished with table and chairs, overlooking the city. The sleeping area consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a closet and a TV, with access to the terrace as well. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.
Washing machine, iron, wi-fi connection, air conditioning and heating will be at guests’ disposal.
*The apartment is located on the first floor with the elevator, however if you take the stairs you will need to go up two floors.
*There is no bidet in the bathroom.
Cot available upon request, at an extra cost of 25€ per stay.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

Genoa, well-known port city and capital of Liguria region, is historically known for its important role in maritime trade over the past centuries.
Known as one of the most extensive medieval historical centers in Europe, the heart of Genoa is a maze of alleys that unexpectedly open up into small squares, often related, like the churches overlooking them, to important noble families.
The spirit of Genoa lies in the alleys, where different smells, tastes, languages and cultures perfectly blend in.
In the historical center is the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, in Romanesque style with a black and white striped façade and frescoed interiors. Narrow streets lead to monumental squares such as the Piazza de Ferrari, with its characteristic bronze fountain, and the Carlo Felice opera house.
The Genoa aquarium, the largest in Europe, is unmissable and iconic. The exhibition itinerary shows more than 70 environments and about 12,000 specimens of 600 species, coming from all the seas of the world. We had a great time and the communication was excellent. Also, we were provided the option to have a transfer from airport, which was cost effective and timely. Worked perfectly.

Nice apartment. Great location.
Shame no one bothered to clean the shower or the sink plug hole before we got there. I had to clean the sink plug so that I could use the sink.
Only let down, bathroom in need of a refit, a new shower is needed, and a really good clean.
The check-in process was very stressful, especially after a day of travelling, we didn't have any means to the internet, and the number messaged to me, was an incorrect number. I had to make 3 calls to a general number before I finally got a message that someone was on their way.

We had an easy check in process, the building is a little hard to find initially, but that could be because we came in at rush hour. If you drive, you can park on the street up to 48 hours (paid).
The apartment was nice, except for the shower and dishwasher. The dishwasher was dirty on the inside and the shower stall is very small and did not drain well. I alerted the host, but they did not fix it during our stay.
The location is great! Easy to walk around a good portion of the city. There are a lot of restaurants and gelaterias close by with great food. Would definitely stay in this area again and would stay at this apartment again if they fixed the shower!

Perfect location. Central for all the attractions and only 2 minutes walk to Ferrari Piazza. Apartment was reasonably well equiped but the bathroom and kitchen were grubby and a little tired. Some maintenance required.
