Second year in a row staying at this property with our family. Cute and cozy old cottage right on the river in a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach, parks, and the downtown with shops and restaurants. Well priced and easy getaway!

We came to visit and check out one of our adult children’s new town, recently moved to manistee. We had a lot of fun. We were surprised at how well the we all fit in the house with room enough - 6 adults and kids. The two upstairs bedrooms are connected, need to walk through one to get to the other- perfect for mom/dad and kids; we slept in the tiny room downstairs- fits a bed and that’s about it- but we didn’t find it uncomfortable- was okay! The kitchen is nice and bathroom good; the water pressure is finicky but we figured it out and was not an issue / it’s an older home so quirks are expected. The parking is tight - no driveway- only two cars fit well and no where else to leave a car nearby and shuttle. The neighbor lady isn’t happy about living next to a vbro- so if you’ll be loud or want to drink, grill out, (no yard really- a small side area - does have fire pit and chairs are nice) you may hear about it from her- she was okay with us - we weren’t too loud. The neighborhood is quiet. It was early in the manistee season so the neighborhood may be different in summer. Over all: nice house; nice amenities inside; SUPER comfy beds; nice bathroom; great couches; clean and functional. Would stay again.

Parking on the road in front of rental , bedrooms small , beds were not comfortable. Air conditioning great on main floor. Going upstairs was not great for us , it was not a place for seniors and we were all over 65 . I could see it fun for younger renters. Water pressure still a concern but we got used to it, you just need to wait and few minutes. Good location close to everything. Decorating very nice , I see getting the outside steps fixed and that was being addressed. Maybe if they can put in a washer and dryer. You gave a winner for young people renters, older people don’t want to go up the stairs. So we he ad to sleep on the couch’s , going up the stairs too dangerous for us.
