Hôtel de la Place du Louvre - Esprit de France

I had a wonderful one night stay last week for belated birthday celebration. Staff was so kind and friendly. Loved everything about the charming hotel: beautiful comfortable room with view of the Louvre, great location, delicious breakfast. Merci Beaucoup!

Beautiful little hotel right in the centre of Paris, one minute walk to the Seine and the Louvre and 8 minutes to the Ile de la Cite. You simply could not find a better hotel for location. Also the room we stayed in was so lovely with the best view of the Louvre. Lovely comfy bed, lovely bathroom, lots of space for such a central boutique hotel in what must have been a very old building which had been carefully redesigned into a hotel. Lovely staff and would definitely recommend. I had read about others saying the rooms are small or the stairways etc and I was concerned about this as a larger lady but the stairways were fine and room was spacious. The lift is small but this is due to being added later to a property that must have been a mansion house in the past so you could only fit two people in the lift but that was absolutely fine. Perfect hotel!

Tiny tiny couple of things as the hotel was amazing. The only thing I would mention is the TV only had one English Channel which was BBC news, minor I know! And there was no milk provided in the room for making tea/coffee but my husband popped down to reception and they gave him a little jug of milk so not too much of a concern!

Very close to the Louvre. Staff very friendly and helpful, one immediately assisting with an issue with our driver picking us up, offered, didn’t need to be asked. Bed very comfortable and loved the little bathroom in the annex.

Rooms a little tight for 2 large bags.

A great stay during the hottest period in the history of Paris. Air Conditioning was a savior. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful - organised airport transfers. Great location across from the Louvre. good breakfast provided
