Reasonable quality

Decorated well and looked in keeping with area. Large communal rooms to sit in. Bed room small and functional. Lighting in bedroom could be brighter( Room 21) Reasonable TV and storage and had a safe in wardrobe. Tea/Coffee topped up daily.

No safety signs regarding wet floors in bathroom. Bed was a little too soft for our liking. Reported 2 small defects and neither were cleared during 3 day stay. Breakfast concerned about amount of food left uncovered for long periods of time

Nice place to stay and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was very nice and cosy. The breakfast was very good.

We requested a ground floor room which was very comfortable but it wasn’t very warm as there seemed to be a draft coming in from under the door, also a wee bit noisy during the evening because of the people staying above us, but not a big problem. We arrived in winter so it was a cold time of the year for our stay.

Impeccably clean. Warm & large room.

Private parking. Was led to believe that my motorbike could be obscured from the roadway. It's effectively roadside parking. (Motorbike theft in Dublin is on the increase hence my concern about oarking). If you're not on a motorbike, then this is the perfect place to stay. You'll hard pressed to get this value in Dublin city. Parking issue aside, 100%.

Comfortable stay in a nice suburb of Dublin

Comfortable night's sleep in a traditional guest house. No problems whatsoever. It's a nice suburb of Dublin with plenty of pubs and cafes within walking distance. Plenty of buses into the city centre and back through to late in the evening. Accommodation in Dublin is expensive and this was relatively good value for a family room sleeping four people.

Not worth the money unfortunately

Nice location and surrounding area

- Constant humming sound from a generator located just outside the room, the generator fumes coming in if you open the window - signs of mould in the shower - Blanket instead of proper quilt - although I kindly asked to change the room the staff just replied with standard “no availability”

Not that great.

Good location.

The shower in room 38 doesn’t even have a curtain that extends around the tub. Low water pressure and also no stopper if I wanted a bath instead. Bed was also uncomfortable and only one pillow to sleep on that provided no support.

Excellent location for the city. Good size room for 3. Good value. Ideal if you just want a comfy bed and a hot shower. We were up and out early and back late.

Found the blankets and bedspread a little heavy compared to a duvet but certainly didn't disturb my sleep!

Room was great for family - it is up 2 flights of stairs so not ideal for a large suitcase. Beds were comfy, room was clean, area is very quiet at night. Breakfast was reasonably priced.

Lovely clean B & B with helpful staff

Staff lovely, nothing too much bother, easy to find, parking easy, breakfast very good, great to have a powerful fan in the room as it was warm weather. Easy to get in at night with code for the door. Rooms very clean and well decorated in a traditional style to match the house. Quite narrow steep stairs so maybe not suitable for those with mobility problems. Smoking balcony outside.

Beautiful and warm. Would visit again.

We stayed there at the beginning and at the end of our trip to Ireland. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. It was in a walking distance from train and bus lines. The whole building was cozy and carefully arranged and decorated. The staff was very polite and helpful. It was very important for us that they stored for us one piece of luggage between reservations. The rooms were beautiful and clean. In the first room we had a window on the small garden, which was nice.

The bathroom in the second room quite narrow. It was ok for us, but some people might find it very hard to use. Also, we understand that it was not listed in the amenities, but a small fridge would be useful.

Perhaps having a fan would be great. The room was very hot and the bed and pillows were not exactly comfortable. The guest house is in a main road and hard to get to but we managed to get an Uber.

Not value for money and mixed messages from staff

Location was good.

We booked months ago as we were going to a gig and €175 per room (we had 2 room bookings) with no breakfast, boiling temperature room along with cheap shower gel in a plastic container an industrial fan whihc made so much noise we couldnt put on the tv - is not acceptable. I enquiries twice om booking regarding parking. I was told that on an email, we could not prebook and would be only available to book on check-in. On arrival, there was no parking available, and the receptionist repeated the same thing over and over again. "Parking was available on time of booking" we suggest you confirm with staff which is the correct option as it was very frustrating when we had to drive around for over 30 minutes due to a match being on - no parking was available. The hotel was lovely, and it was perfectly clean, but please consider letting guests know about the terrible parking situation and reducing the cost of the room because €175 is too high

Disappointing, and in need of a deep clean and new duvets instead of blankets.

Very disappointed with this property.Upon arrival staff insisted on seeing ID and taking a credit card details for security even though the room had been fully prepaid. I have never been asked for ID cards in any other property I have stayed in. The bed covers/ spreads were obviously dirty and looked like they had never been cleaned. Beds had questionable woolly blankets on them, even though the sheets and towels appeared clean. Only one pillow per person. The room was dusty and the carpet was stained. The location of this property is very convenient to the city and the airport but little or no parking attached to the property. On street parking was available as it is in a residential area.

Quiet north Dublin area, helpful friendly staff, lovely garden but very tiny room

Liked the area (quiet area on edge of Dublin (suburb?), staff were very helpful and switched us to a bit larger room the second night. Room was very clean and decor was nice traditional not “modern”. Loved the garden out back to sit and enjoy a meal or beverage or read. Lounge was nice to wait in as we waited for our ride. We were able to leave our bags in a secure area on our arrival before check in and after check out until our ride arrived.

Very tiny rooms and not always a second night stand for a double, or a nice chair to sit in.

We had a great family room. We used an Uber to get into the centre of Dublin, breakfast was a buffet and the quality was good. Staff are very friendly
