Eva's Seeblick

Het uitzicht van het appartement is echt geweldig, als je wakker wordt kijk je uit over de bergen en de Thunersee. Wat wil een mens nog meer? Savonds in de hangstoel kijken naar de zonsondergang is echt een droom. Eva is heel aardig en we voelden ons direct welkom en helemaal toen we een welkomsdrankje kregen aangeboden, heel lief! Het appartement is klein maar fijn, evenals de badkamer. Alles is netjes en schoon, bed ligt heerlijk! Het balkon van de presedential suite is echt zo ruim en met zo'n heerlijk uitzicht! Zeker boeken!

Misschien is het leuk om de begane grond op te knappen tot een leuke en moderne ruimte?

The view over Lake Thun was incredible. We loved having our morning coffee on the large balcony while watching the sunrise. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, well equipped, and Eva was a wonderful host.

Brilliant location in a serene village on the Thunersee, smackbang in the middle of an outstandingly beautiful part of Switzerland. A very good spot for all kinds of day trips into nature or towns. Simple but good facilities on the ground floor for storing and preparing food. Host very responsive, check-in very easy, adequate parking space.

The double room facilities are rather sparse with a tiny bathroom (disfunctional toilet flush was fixed fast after notifying the host) and an even tinier tv. More importantly, especially for those staying on the 2nd floor: be aware that unlike with the average 'Ferienwohnung' the host family lives on the top floor of the house and they are there most of the time. Lacking their own substantial outside space, they lead a very active life around the accommodation, which can make your stay feel like you are intruding in someone else's life (or the other way around?). Expect children frequently stomping, jumping and running around indoors (the ceiling barely stayed up) and playing table tennis outdoors, and as a bonus you could receive an unrequested shower on your balcony when apparently it's time to water the plants one level up. All a bit of a contrast to the calm surroundings.
