Lovely cottage, difficult parking

Well presented and clean cottage, conveniently located and an easy walk into the village. Comfy beds. Nice touches left for guests on arrival with biscuits, milk, wine etc.

Parking on site is almost impossible unless you have a very small car, and the description on the website did not reflect how limited it was. The location pin provided on the website was not accurate (it was about 100m off) and it took a long time to find the cottage in the dark. Some of the pans in the kitchen were in poor condition with the non stick coatings flaking off.

Perfect property for a comfortable weekend in the Cotswolds!

Beautiful cosy cottage in a perfect location, walking distance into the village of Bourton-on water. The hosts even left a welcome pack of wine, biscuits, milk, cereal. Very much enjoyed and appreciated.

Nothing apart from the outside space would have made it exceptional but we were aware of this when booking cottage.

A great stay within a short walk to a beautiful town

Great location and in walking distance to anything in Bourton on the Water. The Mousetrap Inn next door can also be recommended. A very quiet neighbourhood. Parking is small but we found it easy to find alternative parking across the road. We appreciate the kind gesture of leaving a few key items, like milk.

The waste collection was confusing as a non-Brit. It seemed we were meant to have more waste bins for certain recycling items, and either I couldn't find these, or I misunderstood. Some more clear information around this would be great

A very comfortable stay, a cosy and well equipped cottage that has everything you need

The location is perfect - just up the road from Bourton on the Water and central to the beautiful Cotswold countryside. The bath is lovely and deep and quick to fill. and the shower powerful. The hosts are very kind and left us milk, wine, juice, crisps and biscuits - such a thoughtful welcome. There is everything we needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Would definitely come back and would recommend

There's not much to be done about this but the back garden is tiny and the front garden wasn't easy to park on Despite trying we couldn't get the hob to work (I'm convinced that's more to do with user error but it was a pain)

Genoten van het verblijf in Bourton on the Water

Cottage op loopafstand van een geweldig dorp waar veel restaurants zijn en wat leuke winkels. Supermarkt en bakker op loopafstand. Ook nog een grotere Co-op ook in de plaats zelf. Leuk schattig kleine cottage. Vele producten stonden klaar. Thee, koffie, melk en sap in de koelkast, hondenkoekjes en poepzakjes, maar ook bv heel veel schoonmaakmiddelen enz. Bedden prima. Cottage bevatten duidelijk uitleg over het parkeren, folders van leuke activiteiten, info over apparatuur wat in het huisje staat. Tv alleen Engelse zender, maar via de app wel bv Netflix of prime. Genoten van deze week in het mooie Bourton on the water. Sleuteloverdracht via kastje bij de voordeur is perfect. Wifi zeer goed!

Toilet alleen in de badkamer op de 1e en niet beneden. Douche in bad niet de voorkeur, maar dit was wel duidelijk aangegeven in de omschrijving. Een wat grotere auto is niet te parkeren voor de cottage. Langs de weg 3 plekken waar je 24/7 wel mag parkeren. Je moet wel mazzel hebben want is niet altijd dus plek. Eigenaar heeft in het huisje wel verder plekken aan gegeven waar anders ook nog te kunnen parkeren. Trap bevat hoge treden en bij de trap naar zolder, moet je zeker niet te lang zijn. Kleine patio om te zitten.
