Nico, the host, was absolutely wonderful! The B&B was beautiful and the view is out of this world! True Tuscan experience in a quiet area. Breakfast was served outside and included bruschetta, yogurt, fruit, coffee or the, chocolate cake, egg, cheese toast. I highly recommend this B&B!

There is great potential here if the facilities are updated – as mentioned, Niccoló was truly wonderful.

Niccoló was a fantastic host – very helpful and provided us with great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the area, which we truly appreciated. The surroundings were incredibly beautiful, and we really enjoyed the view.

Unfortunately, the facilities did not quite meet our expectations. The bed was uncomfortable (missing top mattress?), the room was cold, the blankets were too thin, and we were bothered by mosquitoes. The pool was not prepared for use during our stay, and the breakfast and coffee could have been of better quality – we would have appreciated a menu to choose our own breakfast items. Another thing to be aware of is that payment was only possible in cash or via bank transfer, which we were not informed about until check-out. This meant we had to drive into town to withdraw cash. There is great potential here if the facilities are updated – as mentioned, Niccoló was truly wonderful.

Fantastic night away amongst the vinyards

Stunning setting amongst the vinyards of Chianti. Charming building and gardens. Fantastic breakfast. All the positives outweighed the negatives.

Toilet seat loose. Air-conditioning didn't really cool much. No bottled water in fridge. Wasn't told about the WiFi and no information in the room, our fault for not asking.. No fly screens on windows.

Relaxing 2 nights stay

Breakfast was served at the beautiful garden. You can smell flowers everywhere in the yard. There are tables and chairs facing the vineyards and a distant view of Castellina town. We had a wonderful memorable 2 nights. There's a wine tasting villa just 200m away from our Accommodation. I highly recommended visiting the wine tasting villa while staying at Podere Palazeo.

ABSOLUTELY PERFRCT!

Great rooms, beautiful views. Super nice breakfast was all well arranged. The location is perfect, you are close to several large wineries and also for dinner there are many nice and tasty restaurants at a short distance. There was a mistake made by me about the payment but that is fortunately all well solved. I would definitely book here again and absolutely recommend this to friends and family! Thank you so much for our great stay and thank you for everything!

Relax with an amazing view

We stayed here the 3th year in a row. It’s the perfect place to relax but it’s also perfectly located to discover Tuscany. What we appreciate the most is the hospitality of the hosts. Always ready to give recommendations about restaurants or trips. The breakfast is well presented and delicious.

Lovely location to enjoy Castellina.

The Podere is in a fantastic location within walking distance of Castellina. The views were magnificent - a perfect setting for breakfast. Laura, the owner, prepared little homemade treats during the day with iced tea. The pool was lovely with plenty of places to lounge about, in shade or out. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

A very minor point …we had to buy bottled water to bring to the room as it was not provided. It was very hot and a fan would have been useful as there was no air conditioning.

The place is very beautiful, a typical toscany villa for only a few guests, which means really quite and almost private place. Ideal for relaxing. Only 15 minutes walk from nerby cute village, where you can stop for a nice dinner. What we appreciated the most were the people taking care of us. Very kind, always willing to help us e.g. pick the best restaurant, places to visit etc. We were absolutely satisfy with their service. The breakfast, served by them (not in form of the buffet) was pleasant part of the day as well as their delicious dinners.

Notre séjour a été très court (2 jours) mais suffisant pour se sentir bien en cet endroit

L'établissement est très bien situé. En plein milieu du Chianti, à mi chemin entre Florence et Sienne. Situé en hauteur, la vue que l'on a depuis cet endroit est magnifique. Le responsable est très avenant et son accueil est fort sympathique.

Il n'y avait pas d'air conditionné. Ce que l'on appelle climatisation est un ventilateur. Le lit bougeait à chaque mouvement de l'un ou de l'autre. Notre salle de bain était sombre et pas bien grande

Niccolo a été un hôte exceptionnel. La chambre était incroyable et confortable avec la salle de bain/jacuzzi attenant. Petit déjeuner copieux Petit plus également pour le restaurant au sein de l’établissement pour le soir

Bad war sehr klein ! In die Stadt muss man 10- 15 min laufen , ansonsten Auto bewegen ! Bei schlechtem Wetter muss man innen frühstücken u Abend essen ! Alle Gäste können dann nicht gleichzeitig essen, das nur 5 Tische Da waren . Kein Fernseher vorhanden . Inventar etwas veraltet

Il soggiorno era un regalo per i miei genitori, che hanno apprezzato molto la colazione, ricca e ben organizzata, e la struttura esterna. Hanno un anche notato la gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff, che si è offerto di trovare una soluzione ai problemi segnalati.

Il soggiorno era un regalo di compleanno per i miei genitori, quindi avevamo scelto una suite, immaginando un livello di comfort e cura superiore, soprattutto considerando il costo di 270 € per due notti. Purtroppo la stanza non era all’altezza del prezzo né della categoria: i balconi non si chiudevano bene, lasciando la stanza poco sicura e priva di privacy; il bagno era vecchio con il tappo del lavandino era arrugginito, il silicone della doccia ingiallito e sporco; diversi mobili erano rovinati e non si chiudevano correttamente; c’era una porta comunicante con la stanza accanto, da cui si sentiva chiaramente ogni rumore. Lo staff è stato gentile e ha proposto un cambio di stanza, ma i miei genitori, essendo persone molto riservate, hanno preferito non spostarsi. Nel complesso, una bella struttura esterna con buona colazione, ma la suite e le condizioni interne non giustificano il prezzo pagato

Tolle Unterkunft - gerne wieder!!

Tolle Unterkunft zum Verweilen in der Toskana, die familiär geführt wird. Wir haben die Ruhe am Pool genossen und den Blick in die Weinberge. Das Frühstück wird jeden Tag liebevoll von der „Nonna“ gekocht und bietet jeden Tag etwas Anderes. Abends besteht die Möglichkeit auch immer vor Ort zu essen. Es gibt stets wechselnde Angebote. Wir sind zu Fuß (15min) immer in das nächste Örtchen zum Essen (Castellina in Chianti) und haben dort den „Trubel“ als Abwechslung genossen. Dort gibt es auch einen Supermarkt.

Da das Frühstück immer einzeln am Tisch serviert wurde und es nur eine Bedienung gibt, musste man zu Stoßzeiten leider lange warten.

Suite con patio, fantastica, con panorama meraviglioso e poetico sulle colline del Chianti. L'arredamento è accogliente ed equilibrato, merita assolutamente. Colazione favolosa, preparata con prodotti fatti in loco. Da aggiungere la gentilezza, cortesia e simpatia di Niccolò, che è totalmente tagliato per questo lavoro. E' una persona estremamente gradevole e accogliente. Complimenti, ragazzo! Farai strada!

Heerlijk locatie op loopafstand van Castellina in Chianti

Perfecte locatie om de chianti classico streek in het hart van Toscane te ontdekken. Heerlijk rustig gelegen met elke dag een voortreffelijk ontbijt.

Zwembad en de tuin waren nog niet zomer klaar gemaakt. Op de eerste zonnige dag aan het zwembad werd met een benzine handmaaier de hele tuin onder handen genomen, dit duurde de hele middag en verstoorde onze middag enorm.

Sig. NICOLÒ soprannominato Patron Nicolò, per la suo accoglienza,per come viene tenuta il Podere .ottimo letto, lenzuola e asciugamani ottimi, non squallidi come invece succede in certi ht a 4 stelle. Noi ci torneremo. Fatelo anche voi il posto e la camera piacevolissimi. Ordine. Pulito.

Forse darei una passata di bianco nella doccia. Bordi tra piatti e il vetro. Ma pensiamo anche che siamo in mezzo sal verde
