The location was stunning; the staff went out of their way to be helpful especially Sara; the design of the castello is wonderful; the scenery stunning; the food was excellent; the breakfast was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting with Philippo. We couldn't more highly recommend Castella La Leccia!
It would have been good to have been warned about the local communal roads, which Google maps takes sometimes. They are treacherous and should not be taken under any circumstances.

location and setting
no air conditioning during September and beginning of October the room had zero air circulation practically! yes the window did open as we were instructed from the staff but did little to comfort us
