The location, style and size of the apartment
The fact that everything is done through an app, so it’s quite impersonal. But the staff is really nice and reactive. Also, we had to pay an extra 30 euros if we wanted to check in a few hours before. I travel quite a lot and I’ve never experienced this.

The surrounding area of the apartment was nice, and it had easy access to the canal for a water taxi.
The apartment was clean and nice interior.
• I specifically requested an apartment with a canal view, and was assured that I would be getting one. I was genuinely excited about this, but upon check-in I was shocked to find that the apartment had no canal view at all. Instead, it faced walls, making the space dull and dark. When I contacted the accommodation, they explained it was a last-minute issue and that they had to switch my apartment. However, this was not communicated to me beforehand. In fact, I was receiving messages from them right before check-in regarding payment of the city tax, yet they failed to mention the change in the apartment. This lack of transparency left me feeling misled and disappointed.
• Another issue that surprised me was being asked to provide my credit card name and number via WhatsApp as a guarantee for the water taxi, even though I had already stated that I would pay in cash. Sharing sensitive financial information through WhatsApp is highly unsafe and unacceptable. There should be a proper, secure payment link or system in place to handle such details, not an informal messaging app.
