BEACH VALENCIA LUXURY B40-7 Apartament on Beach

Un soggiorno meraviglioso 🥰, Appartamento comodissimo, fronte mare, con giardinetto in erba sintetica, e doccia esterna per sciacquarsi quando si torna dal mare. Un condominio tranquillissimo, in una zona perfetta per le famiglie, con i servizi essenziali a portata di mano (supermercato consum, bar, tabacchino, ristoranti, parchetto per bimbi). La spiaggia La Patacona è molto tranquilla benché sia affollata, è ricca di ristoranti in cui mangiare prodotti tipici, la spiaggia ha anche giochi per bambini e un piccolo chioschetto ( chiringuito) in cui fare apericena o aperitivo. Di questo soggiorno ho amato tutto. La struttura è bellissima sia per la posizione che per il modo in cui è gestita. Ci tornerei volentieri!

Overall, we had a great stay. The apartment was very clean, spacious and perfect for a family of four. It had everything we needed for the most part. Host was very responsive every time we messaged and guided us as best she could. If we did not have something she would offer to bring it, replace something broken or offer a solution.

Be aware of theft. Not in the apartment or apartment building as it is very secure but if you rent bikes like we did - do NOT leave them outside even if secured with multiple locks. We left our rented bikes outside secured in a bike rack and they were stolen. Be sure to be very clear when asking about where to secure bikes or anything else. We were unaware that the apartment building has a garage and we could have secured the bikes there. Putting this in my review so anyone that does the same knows. Riding bikes in Valencia is a great experience.

The location was great, just a minutes walk from the beach and promenade. There was a bus stop nearby to get into the city. It was a ground floor apartment so easily accessible. The room was very clean, modern spacious and ideal for two people. It was quiet but this is probably due to the time of year (we went in March).

Check in was not ideal. We received a link to check in online just as we got of the plane (quite late at night), had to then pick the key up from a restaurant down the road from the apartment. The major issue we had was that the lock to the apartment required a code and opened automatically by using a battery powered mechanism. All quite modern but the door failed to open numerous times, meaning we needed to contact a lady to come and help us get into the apartment. There were no physical keys. The lady was not in the apartment complex and did not speak fluent English. This did create unnecessary anxiety and stress. In addition, when they finally offered us a different apartment it was on their terms, they could only move us at a certain time on a certain day so they could accommodate guests who were just staying for one night (we had booked for 6 nights) and had an event planned in the city on that day. Just to note the apartment had a double bed (no twin), the sofa bed in the living area was not really adequate and did not pull out as a double. Minor maintenance needed to be done in the kitchen (sockets not working, low flow on kitchen tap).

The appliances seemed to be there just for show. The washing machine was practically unusable—even on a low spin cycle, it started "walking" across the bathroom floor. The dishwasher didn't clean anything at all, so we had to remove and unclog the spray arms ourselves. The key situation was really frustrating. Even though the apartment door locked behind us when pulled shut, you couldn't get through the perimeter gate without the physical key. Because of that, we always had to coordinate and stick together instead of popping over to the beach at our own pace.
