Fantastic breakfast. Special care given.

It was perfect.

Breakfast spread was excellent - lot's of choice and very good quality. Personal attention, giving you exactly what you wanted.

Nothing - very happy overall.

The breakfast was excellent with everything being extremely fresh. This is a small establishment so it caters for these meaning there is not a huge buffet of food going to waste just really good quality food. Hot food is cooked to order by the lovely staff.

There had been storms and the approach road we were using was closed. It had been closed for several days and an email notifying guests to avoid that route would have saved us a 2.5hr detour. The goose that insisted in sitting high in the tree right outside our window and calling incessantly very early in the morning was rather annoying. The room I was shown online was not the room I was booked into. There seems to be some overselling on Booking.com. Staff at La Villa worked wonders and swapped rooms. The room we ended up in was beautiful but still not the spectacular one online.

lovely building and surroundings, comfortable room and bed. Beautiful terrace and garden for breakfast.

Staff weren't great - (either ignored you or then tried too hard) and not keen on having someone knock on the door late evening and hand over a 'gratuity' envelope. Room access up a very tight and steep spiral staircase - not ideal. Breakfast was 'interesting'.... some lovely elements like the fruit and breads but disgusting coffee
