Cozy guest suite in Los Gatos - Beach in 30 min!

Beautiful property, very quiet, and peaceful, it was a very clean studio, and host Eric was nice and had good communication. Convenient to downtown Los Gatos and the Mountain Winery where we saw a concert.The kitchen was well equipped, with allot of kitchen gadgets, but could have had more actual utensils, pots, pans etc for cooking. I admit I did not see the video walkthrough of the place, but the pictures showed it having a sofa bed and a bed, it only had a bed. I thought I was staying somewhere with two beds, so my daughter and I ended up bunking together; but the bed was very comfortable. FYI-There are some funky mini steps leading into the unit and in the hall leading to the kitchen, my open toed sandals caught on them both, I ended up falling going into the kitchen. Also, there is no place to sit in the unit, unless you pull out some fold up chairs or sit on the bed. But the view outside on the patios is so nice you won’t care. Parking was a challenge for the larger SUV I drive, be sure to back into your spot, unless you want to do an 8 point or rosk hitting a wall turn to leave. Despite some of the challenges, the place is a nice and peaceful getaway. Just wanted to share a bit more about the experience, so people understand what they are booking; it is a nice place. host was nice.

We had a relaxing (Mother's Day) weekend stay in the private studio suite at Eric's beautiful home. We were in the area for my cousin's wedding weekend - in both downtown Los Gatos on Friday and at lovely Saratoga Springs for the wedding. Easy access to both events and close enough to shoot over Hwy 17 to have breakfast and browse before the wedding on Saturday. We had traveled from Sonora, and were grateful for the comfortable serene setting Eric's place offored. You may wish to bring along a couple of folding chairs if you want to sit inside at the drop leaf table inside the studio. Otherwise, sitting/laying on the bed is perfectly comfortable.

Address listing was incorrect ( it’s “road” not “drive”) so took an extra hour to find location because host wasn’t accessible except by message. Once we were able to reach him he was very curt and somewhat dismissive instead of helpful. Location was as shown on website but the interior had a lot of items that showed it was”lived in” ( long hairs in bathroom, groceries in kitchen storage, very old, used kitchen items- dishes, glassware). One winding road to location was scheduled to close the morning of our departure- we were unaware and had no idea how to bypass- would have been nice if host had made us aware of road closure because it’s a somewhat private residential area, the residents were certainly made aware of this, however our host did not make us aware.
