Nerja Villas-Capistrano

From pre arrival contact with Oscar to leaving we thought all staff - both Tony and Hans were great. The apartment was excellent, but could do with some TLC. The outside space was great. And the facilities in the apartment were sufficient albeit a small cooking space. The complex was very clean. All the flowers and sheubs were well looked after. The smaller pool is better than the bigger pool as is more quiet. Great for couples and families. We will definitely be heading back to capistrano. It is a great little place.

As already mentioned, the apartment could do with some tlc to update it and the microwave and toaster need replacing as they are about 30 years old. That is the main small thing.

Reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a slight hiccup with our booking, nobody's fault, but Reception really did their best to.remedy the problem. Mercadona supermarket is just across the road. Pool area very well supervised by lifeguards. Plenty of loungers available.

The aircon was "technically" present (only inside the front door, and a tiny, weak unit), but essentially non-existant. So the apartment was unbearably hot and gave no respite from.the very nigh temperatures outside. The village is also 2.6km from the centre of Nerja and taxis are hard to get and expensive. Bear in mind if anyone has mobility issues.

Lovely view from the balcony of the sea. TV excellent. English and variety of tv channels well appreciated as weather not good at times to go out in the evening.

Decor and chipped furniture need updating. New bedding required, duvet instead old blankets and new pillows.
