Nerja Villas-Capistrano

The apartment was spacious with plenty of storage and wardrobe space. It also had a utility room with washing machine. It was clean and close to the pool. There are two major supermarkets within easy walking distance which was very handy, and the wheeled shopping trolley in the apartment came in very handy for those. The outside sun area was more of a court yard than a veranda because it was at ground level. Part of this courtyard incorporated a garden. It was very pleasant, private and spacious.

I have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our time here but there were a couple of little niggles: As we were shown to our apartment I noticed a small leak onto our courtyard from the apartment above. I brought this to the attention of our guide who said it was from the Air con unit from the apartment above. However, a couple of days later nothing had been done to address this so I reported it again and showed the the video of it. The apartment above us became empty and was like that for most of the remainder of our stay and therefore the Air con was not in use and the problem appeared fixed. However, people did move in for the last few days of our stay and it became obvious nothing had been done to fix the problem. One of the sunbed cushions was in a poor state and had obviously been affected by the leaking patio above. There is no safe. It could do with basic essentials ie. Salt, pepper oil for new arrivals, maybe a welcome pack, water etc. The bathroom needs updating. It may not sound like it but we really did enjoy our stay there.

I guess it depends what you expect but we coulnd't be more happy with our stay. We asked for quiet apartment, and we got excatly what we wanted. It was around 15 min walking distance from reception (going uphill) but i was lovely. Beautiful view, no cars or scooters driving by. You just need to understand that they have apartments all over Capistrano village, it not just one small complex, so distance can be bit longer then reception is located, But we do like to walk so there was no problem, plus we had a bus stop 2 minutes away, so often we took it going back from town. Apartment had all the utensils to make your stay comfotable. even sun beds and umbrellas for the beach.

Unreliable bus some days, but I guess it's not their fault.

Property was very clean and in a good location

Nothing I didn’t like, in hindsight I should have paid for a villa as we have a young toddler

The smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment was sickening.!My mistake was not complaining on arrival. It was like someone else lived there and some doors were locked. Someone else’s home.
