We booked the Bothwell Hotel of the Highlands (BoHo) because some friends were staying at Ratho Farm and we were too late to get rooms there. The location is good if you’re playing golf at Ratho Farm, the oldest golf course in the Southern hemisphere, for going fishing or exploring the Central Highlands.
We arrived late around 10.30pm after a lovely dinner at Ratho Farm and the self-check in codes we were given did not work on the rear door. The Goki App we for checking in was not much help, and no one answered the landline phone number we were given when booking. Fortunately, two of the staff from Ratho Farm who were also staying at BoHo arrived and let us in. Ironically, there was an emergency mobile contact number on the inside of the rear door. It would be helpful if this was on the outside of the entry door for help with after hours access.
