While the hotel looks kind of old, the actual rooms were recently renovated and very well equipped, it had all the amenities of modern 4 star hotels indeed. The highlight of the hotel is the big pool in the middle of the facilities, but it never felt really crowded. I think it wasn't temperated water, but to be honest it was so hot that there were no need for that. The breakfast was really really good with many options and ample hours, and they had lunch and dinner too (very simple food but good enough to avoid the hassle of having dinner outside).
The pool bar was closed, no idea if they planned to keep like that or are going to open for high season. The location is kind of bad, it's very time consuming to move to or from the hotel unless you're going to Catania (the town where the hotel is located, Aci Trezza, is cute but quite small so not too much stuff to do there). The connection to the highway implied to pass through several tiny towns with overcrowded small streets. Please take into account that going by car is basically mandatory too, naturally. But well, having a hotel with these facilities in the middle of nowhere is what it makes its price more attractive so can't really complain.

The hotel was nice, clean, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. We had a pleasant experience and appreciated the excellent service provided by the team.
The hotel is situated in a lovely location and offers a pleasant atmosphere. However, getting to and from the seafront, where most of the restaurants are located, involves a bit of a walk, including an uphill stretch on the way back. Something to keep in mind, especially for those with mobility concerns - The hotel offers a shuttle service, which can be arranged in advance with prior booking something to keep in mind.

It had access to a pool despite it being very small. The air conditioning was good once it was operated correctly by the receptionist
The beds were uncomfortable. The restaurant service and food was awful as the staff were uninterested.
