Augarten Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at Augarten Apartment in Vienna. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although it is a little away from the city centre, the tram stop is just across the apartment and provides easy connections to the centre. The apartment was very well maintained and located on a quiet street, which made our stay peaceful and relaxing. If you prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city centre while still having convenient access to the main attractions, this is a great option. There is also a SPAR supermarket on the same street, which was very convenient. There is a restaurant just below the apartment serving delicious food. There are lots of restaurants in nearby in 1-2 km range. Overall, everything was excellent, and our stay was very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Although the apartment was beautiful, spacious, and convenient, there are a couple of small areas that could be improved. The Booking.com listing mentioned a 24-hour reception, but we could not find a reception desk on arrival. This was not a problem for us, as we had received the door codes and all the necessary instructions in advance, and the check-in process was smooth. However, it would be helpful if the listing clearly reflected the actual reception arrangements. The bathroom was spacious, but there were no shower curtains or proper separation around the shower area, so water tended to flow across the bathroom floor. Adding a shower curtain or a higher glass partition would make the bathroom much more practical and comfortable. Apart from these minor points, everything else was perfect. The apartment was well maintained, comfortable, and in a great location, and we had a very pleasant stay overall.

Great host and the room is spacious.

The toilet where the water from shower corner tends to overflow to the rest of the toilet. Will be good if the shower corner can be partitioned or have low kerb to prevent water from overflowing.

Decent location. About 20 minutes walk from the center. Multiple grocery stores and tram stops near the building.

The area. The tram lines are right under the windows so it gets very noisy. The entrance to the building is kept opened during the day so anyone can access it. Saw multiple people waiting in front of the building and getting inside with other guests of the hotel when they unlocked with the PIN code. Also in the evening the outside door to the lounge was left open and people could easily get in and out. The rooms were dirty. There was trash left in the room from the previous guests and it smelled bad. The main bed was way too soft and uncomfortable to sleep in. There was some strange connection where the night lamp couldn't be switched on unless the main light in the room was on, which removes the purpose of a night lamp. Communication with the property was not straightforward and only once the response was on time.
