Lovely cottage in a good spot, walking distance from town/beach. Everything clean and tidy, the hosts were great and very communicative. A nice bottle of fizz on arrival was a great touch. Would highly recommend.

Good value for money in a quiet location.

Very quiet. Parking easy. Comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. Sunny garden. Good shower. Short walk to nearest shop, takeaways, pub and bus stop. Prosecco and milk on arrival.

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lots of little extras to make it feel home from home. Spacious rooms and nice and bright.

Lack of shelving in bathroom. Perhaps a shelf above mirror and a corner shelving unit in shower. Air fryer and George Foreman would be a bonus.

Week in Swanage

Lovely location quiet private grassy garden which our dogs loved and very private. Quiet at night too which we loved. Great contact from cottage managers throughout stay.

Only had one issue which may help future guests which is bed in main bedroom is very low . It could be rectified in future with a thicker mattress instead which would make all the difference in our opinion.

Fabulous Church view property

Loved staying at this property in Swanage, a real home from home. Very comfortable beds, overall the property was excellent. Communication with the owner was fantastic. Loved the location too, lovely views, nearby pub and shop for essentials. My dog Loved her stay too with a safe garden to play in.

Parking on the drive was a little hair raising but we managed it. Thank goodness our car wasn't too big. Tv was a bit complicated but to be honest we didn't use it much.

A great place to stay for any family/couple who prefers a self catering option.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed to self cater. Lovely garden area at the rear which is private and not overlooked. The property was very nicely decorated with great furnishings. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding was excellent. The property was also in a nice quiet location.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property and would return there anytime.

A home from home place to stay to enjoy Swanage.

Well presented cottage with all facilities needed for a comfortable holiday. The property was very clean and it was dog friendly. Communication and access instructions from owners was very good. Would highly recommend.

There wasn’t much not to like about staying here. The driveway was very tight for a large car but we did manage with care. Would have preferred to be a closer to town but was in walking distance at approximately 1 mile.

Recommended!

The road was very quiet. We could comfortably sleep with the windows facing the street open. We had everything we needed for our stay. The bottle opener was broken and when we mentioned to the owners, it was brought to us within couple of hours. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We slept like babies every night! We left something behind after checking out, only noticing it after we got home. We contacted the owners and they went the extra mile and kindly posted it back to us. We are very, very grateful for it.

The only thing was, but mind though we never asked about it and also didn'tmind it either, the site pictures spa facilities which is a bit misleading. We thought the house may have those facilities but it didn't.

The location was great. We could walk to town and great bus stop location. Cosy beds and lovely home made touches on arrival. Home from home clean and tidy and room to put our clothes. Information about area provided too. We managed parking but had been warned it may be difficult.

It was a little difficult to work out the hob. But once done it was fine. The inside top of the radiators need a clean just caught a bit of dust.

Very comfortable accommodation making our break very enjoyable

Excellent, within walking distance of Swanage town, with plenty of restaurants and pubs, and most importantly the beach. We walked from the accommodation to Harry’s Rocks, leaving the car at the house meant we didn’t have to find parking in town.

Lovely property, lovely host

We loved our stay at Church View. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and the welcome goodies were very much appreciated. Gillian sent helpful info before we arrived and kindly made sure I had the equipment I needed for my baby. Oh, and the beds/bedding were soooo comfortable!

A very cosy cottage

The cottage was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was fantastic, the kitchen had everything we needed, it was very dog friendly with a decent sized safe garden and in a great quite location. We also really appreciated being able to check in early and out late! That was very thoughtful of Gillian. We didn't have any problems that we needed to contact her about, but I'm sure if we did her reply would have been speedy as communication was easy. There were also very nice touches of fresh daffodils, wine, coffee, milk and my dog really enjoyed the treats left for him! Thank you, we will definitely stay again in the future!
