Newly Remodeled Brick Home with wall Sculptures by the Airport

This was the perfect place for my siblings, Dad, and I to gather in celebration of his 85th birthday. We made meals in the well-equipped kitchen, played Yahtzee on the back deck listening to birds, and enjoyed spending time together in the living rooms. The house was spotlessly clean, and there were thoughtful touches such as fluffy towels, cozy throw blankets, ample tissue boxes, and coffee/tea. All beds were very comfortable, and the house was quiet despite its close proximity to the airport. We walked to grocery stores, and it was an easy drive to the downtown farmers’ market, the Iowa Cubs baseball field, and the Iowa State Capitol (with a great tour guide!). The owner, Scott, was very responsive and kind. We look forward to a future Des Moines getaway there!

We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, with plenty of room for our family. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and fully equipped. The location was perfect for a wedding we were attending in town, with easy access to downtown and everything close by.One thing we especially appreciated was the dedicated space for wedding preparation. The host has clearly thought of wedding parties—there were extra mirrors, blow dryers, and thoughtful touches that made getting ready so much easier.The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, which made the stay even better. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area, especially for wedding events.
