About this cottage rental
Private, lakefront location with about 85-foot private frontage by 231 depth of direct waterfront access with a dock. Upscale, peaceful neighborhood, with upscale neighbors.
Guests have the option to walk the entire shoreline along neighbor shorelines. there are upscale, good neighbors who are very respectful and quiet,
Downtown Lindsay or Bobcagent is about 10 minute's drive for groceries, restaurants, shops, any essentials required, etc. Very central location and at the same time, peaceful with Sturgeon Lake at your doorstep.
its own private dock right on your doorstep - right on Sturgeon Lake, where you can access by boat Fenelon Falls & Cameron Lake; Bobcaygeon & Pigeon Lake, and numerous other lakes.
The water depth at the dock is approx. 2 meters, making easy parking for your boat.
Closest boat launches and marinas? There is a municipal boat launch dock at the end of Pleasant Point Rd (Pleasant Point & Leslie Frost); and also at Thurstonia which is about a 10-minute drive from the cottage (Highway 36 West of Scotch Line - head West on Highway 36 and then head north on Thurstonia Rd and the dock is located on Hazel St - which is at the end of Thurstonia Rd). There is also Wilky's Marina (111 Hazel St, Dunsford) which is on the same street as the Thurstonia Rd municipal dock and where you can get mechanical services, gas, storage, etc.

I would highly recommend this place. Honestly, it was better than advertised as the pictures given of the cottage are not the greatest. It had a great gas oven, a gazebo, a canoe, a paddleboat, a computer, and a wood stove. The dock wasn't in the greatest of shape, but if sufficed, and the beautiful view of the water more than made up for it. Also a few wear and tear issues for the cottage (screen doors were in poor shape, a few window panels missing in the sun room door), but all completely acceptable considering the price. 9/10, definitely recommended.
