About this villa rental
The property faces the sea with fine views of the Saronic Bay and the small island of Aggistri with the Peloponnese in the distance. Sipping ouzo on the large shady veranda, lounging on cushions in the central courtyard, or swimming lengths in the salt water pool, you can feast your eyes on the intense blue of the Mediterranean, traversed occasionally by picturesque fishing or sailing boats. The villa is arranged around a central courtyard, and combines traditional neo-classical elegance with beautiful modern design. The main building houses a good sized living room and kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms are distributed in the other two buildings. The accommodation is high quality, with marble floors and vaulted wooden ceilings. All the rooms have powerful ceiling fans. Furnishings are simple. There is space for parking in the garden which is large, full of trees and flowers, and gated.

Everything about the place is brilliant. The pool is massive, warm and beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked. The barbecue perfect for evening meals. The different buildings for each set of bedrooms great eg for grown up children who were pleased with their own spaces. The layout with the central seating for evening drinks and chats was a great focal point. And the sea literally opposite meant we could have a morning and evening swim every day. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. A wonderful place.

We had a really wonderful stay. it is a beautiful place.Unfortunately the villa was not prepared on our arrival . It was a shock for all .....We have been traveling for 10 hours with a baby and three year old and we are a family group of 10. The caretaker of the villa was so helpful. he sped around with his daughters and wife and prepared the beds , cleaned etc . I did talk to the owners on the phone as we thought there must be a mistake. it was a bad moment !!!!!I think there must have been a communication break down somewhere. I had hoped to receive an phone call, email or text checking in with us and to somehow apologise. We have an air bnb property and would be mortified if I had messed up with the bookings or failed to tell the cleaners to expect a group. i would have certainly called and offered a compensation of some type ...even a meal out ..but nothing .... the management/maintenance man was great and he was totally shocked too. It was pure luck that his daughters happened to be at the villa .

Fantastic villa at a more or less perfect location on the island. About a 15-20 minute walk into Aegina town or 3 minutes by car.
The house is all about the "courtyard" style inner yard. A magical place to sit and relax, from where you can do see a glimpse of the ocean.

An Amazing week in an even more beautiful place than the pictures showed. Newly re-done kitchen and nice surroundings. Short walk into the city. Marie and John have been great hosts and Vasilij their care taker is great. He helped us no matter the cause. The only thing is that we expected to be able to use the bikes that where mentioned in the description as well as in our contract. We where not allowed since guests before us had taken them into the city and they've got stolen. I totally understand John & Marie but would have been great if that hade been removed from the contract and the description. Other than that. Best place, best view, an amazing pool and pool area with great rooms.
