Lori was great and easy to communicate with. We only had a couple minor issues pop up, but nothing the family couldn’t deal with. The house was perfect for our group, 4 adults, 1 teenager and 1 infant, and was close to everywhere we wanted to visit. The boardwalk was only a 5 minute drive and the public beach entry was close to the bathrooms. We visited Turkey Creek which was a nice walk for most of the adults and baby while several more went tubing in the spring water. Visited with family in Niceville which was a quick 25 minute drive. Parlor doughnuts close by has an excellent selection of sweet treats and we were able to get all our groceries at the local Publix. Several of us ate atThe Gulf and enjoyed our dinner immensely. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 was due to the mess of the lawn. It appeared to be freshly mowed and seems to have been quite overgrown as the clippings were left all over the walkway and drive and back patio. We ended up tracking the wet grass into the house until we could find a broom. Don’t really want to be sweeping walkways and patios and floors within the first hour of a stay. It also seems as though they didn’t use a trimmer as there was quite a bit of overgrowth around the edges. Again, nothing that made us want to pack up and leave, just a nuisance. Concerns were sent to Lori so hopefully she can address that with whomever does the lawn between stays. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Absolutely loved it! Outside can use a lawn cut, but don’t be fooled. We had everything we needed. Out dance studio was here for a nationals dance competition and a few of us families were on a budget. We were able to cut, do laundry, and run to and from dance numbers in a reasonable amount of time to the Destin Fort Walton Convention center. We were super close to everything from food to coffee to souvenir shops, grocery stores, to entertainment and the beach at an arms length. Host was available for any questions or concerns. She even came right by and sprayed a hornets nest we found. The response time was super quick. Environment in the home was super clean. Kids even commented on how comfortable bed was to sleep in, and they are picky! We felt just like we were at home. We had a great time, and would return any time. I recommend this home for 6 people or less. The pull out couch mattress was thin which we expected but even the leather couch recliner was so comfortable people passed out in it able to rest fully all night! Great host, great place, great location. Thank you!
