About this house rental
Want a little more space than a small 1 bdrm apartment or condo on the beach? Modern, renovated, and less than 1 mile to the beach. With 6 beds, 1 pull out couch and crib available, you can sleep 5 comfortably, but can sleep up to 10 if you don't mind sharing space. This house is a small two story home with well utilized space. Great for a vacation. Wall mounted TVs in 3 rooms. Great space to relax out back or upstairs on the patio. Kitchen and family area are downstairs (with a pull out couch) with access to a fenced backyard and fire pit. There are 3 separate sleeping rooms. The king bedroom has a nice king size bed and has a twin blowup bed for kids, and a small closet. This is the largest room. The second bedroom is a queen bedroom with a crib available if needed, right at the top of the stairs. Please norify in advance if you'll need a crib. The third room, is a little bunk bed room, it is small extra sleeper area, with a bottom full size mattress and an upper twin size mattress. The couch downstairs is also a pull out sleeper. This home is just across the bridge from okaloosa island, right next to the lovely downtown restaurants. The neighborhood is a little older looking but it is a great deal for the ease of access to all Destin and Fort Walton Beach have to offer.

The entry process was a bit confusing and then there was not a key in the lock box. The cleaning person arrived over 25 minutes later to give us the keys. The ice maker for the refrigerator was leaking onto the kitchen floor where we had to place a towel. No ice was available. I would recommend more towels for 6 people. and maybe more kitchen towels and wash cloths. We had to purchase bath tissue and paper towels and trash bags for the unit. The clothes dryer was inefficient as it took almost 2 hours to dry towels. The location was easy to get to grocery stores and to access Okaloosa island and the beaches.
