The house is clean. The location of the house is perfect. Close to town, golf course and swimming pool. Bluff trails are beautiful and a nice walk to the beach area. Ocean view from three of the four rooms. Three full baths also helps when vacationing with adult children and their families.

Mermaid House was just wonderful. Location excellent - near trails and pool. Great views and coziness. The Mermaid theme and colors were a nice touch . Fun beach and mermaid quotes.Would return for sure.A well taken care of property. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. Great location, right on the bluff trail, house was very clean and layout was great. Host communication was prompt.

The Mermaid has an excellent sea side location with the really big plus of being walking distance from the Del Mar pool and tennis courts. The kitchen is well designed and well equipped and the bathrooms are ultra-modern. It would be a great house for a weekend trip for adult friends or groups. As a week stay for families, not so much. While having 4 bedrooms, the layout and furnishings are too close, overstuffed and relaxed to interact as a family group. The living room is small, dark (even after we replaced 3 burned-out bulbs) and the seating is laid back to the point of being horizontal. We didn't find it conducive for puzzling, playing games or just talking. The bedrooms had closets, but lacked drawers, so we never really unpacked. And so many pillows--where to put them all? We've stayed in five different Sea Ranch homes over the years, all with different layouts, designs and amenities. I guess the Mermaid House just wasn't our cup of tea.
