The location in incline village is good. The kitchen appliances are in a good working condition

I was looking forward to a stroll to the nearby beach. However, all beaches in incline village are closed to the public. So basically there is no beach access, unless you have a residency card. No exceptions. In order to spend time at the beach you have to drive and find a parking spot, which is a challenge. I think the listing should be clearer about the fact that the incline beaches are not open to the public. The house itself is very basic. The decor is basic (old rugs and few fake plants). Furniture are basic. Some of them had better days. It doesn’t have the feel of a great vacation home, like other vacation house I stayed at in the Tahoe area. There are no instructions whatsoever on how to use the house. For example, the coach is the living room are too far from the TV and there are no instructions on how to use the six remotes that are placed next to the tv. During my stay the smoke alarm started beeping at 2am because of low battery.
