Ideal for a large family or group.
Good location and would happily book it again.
Lots of toys to keep the kids occupied and cards for the adults.
The floor was saturated on arrival. Floor had to be mopped and dried to make it safe as it was dangerously slippy.

I loved the whole house it was so spacious and plenty of space for the little kids to get about and not on top of each other. It was bigger than i thought it would. I loved the rooms they all looked decent sizes and no complaints about them. I had the master room that was so big and lovely. I loved the views we had from the house and how you can walk to the farm you have. The kids loved it. The kitchen was perfect you had all the utensils we would ever need, which was great.
The house was perfect. I just think you need to update your photos on both booking.com and your website as they don't do it justice, and it didn't show the extension off the kitchen, which was a great addition.

The property was in a great location, right next to the river for keen walkers & kayakers etc & Slane town was just up the road (approx 10min walk), so amenities were available if needed & Slane castle was about 5 minutes in a car or 20minutes walk.
The road to the house, lead to the farm & there were a lot of vehicles passing regularly & some at a speed, as its a one vehicle track. The house, although an ideal size for what we needed, it was tired. There was a burnt plug socket in the snug/dining room, there was or had been a leak under the kitchen sink, so a strong damp smell. There has also been or was a leak on the main tank in the airing cupboard, as there was water staining noted to the floor. The grass outside hadnt been cut, so we couldnt sit outside if we wanted too. In the kitchen, the units had seen better days with hinges broken, water ingress noted & even though the house was deemed suitable for 14people, there were not enough cutlery to accommodate such. We also had an issue with hot water, as it hadnt been left on, so one tank full & we had to wait hours for more (cold showers were had) and we also couldnt get the heating to work & there was not enough wood for the fire/log burner. The house is in a great location, but could do with some TLC.
