AURA on Manas avenue, 7

Everything was fine. There was complimentary tea and soap/shampoo/body wash. The mattress was comfortable. There was everything you needed to cook including salt/pepper/oil. The host was very responsive. There was plenty of toilet paper for the length of stay. The “scariness” of the staircase is relative. We have stayed in much worse buildings. The building is very secure and the staircase is well lit at night. It just needs a new paint job.

The shower pressure was (for once) too strong for my liking. You had to hold the shower head during the shower or else it would shoot water all over the place. The water temperature was also a little finicky, if you moved it a hair it would be boiling hot but at least there was hot water. I would prefer darker curtains for the bedroom because it is very bright in the morning and also at night since there is a digital billboard outside the window.

Clean and comfortable. Looked like the photos in the listing. The most comfortable bed I’ve had in Kyrgyzstan. Good location. Dodo Pizza, downstairs is ok for fast food. Nice view. Useful kitchen and washing machine. Powerful shower. The host communicated well and provided good instructions.

Only minor points - The entrances are not numbered so it’s a bit tricky to find number 5 - the stairs and hallways in these flats are always a bit dingy

Fantastic location in the heart of Bishkek, close to all the cafes and restaurants. There’s even a 24-hour mini market conveniently located downstairs. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the apartment was clean and well-maintained.

The AC is a bit noisy, which can be disruptive during sleep

Квартиры замечательные, ухоженные и полностью оборудованы всем необходимым для комфортного проживания, готовки и отдыха. Не пугайтесь внешнего вида старого советского здания — внутри и в подъезде чисто и аккуратно. Связь с хозяйкой была легкой, а процесс самостоятельного заселения — простым. С удовольствием остановился бы здесь снова!
