Fine for a short stay or one night if you prioritize location and price, but not the most comfortable for longer stays.

⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) For the price, the location is excellent — right next to the train station, in the city center, and facing a lovely square. Our window also had a beautiful view of the mountains, which was a big plus. Check-in was at 3 pm, but since we arrived earlier, they allowed us to store our luggage and wait in a small dining area with tables, a kettle, and tea, which was a helpful gesture.

However, the room itself had several drawbacks. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the floor (not carpeted) felt slightly sticky. The bedside lamps didn’t work, which made the lighting inconvenient. Another important detail is that bath towels were not included — only a small hand towel per person was provided, and large towels were available for an extra €3.

It's a hostel, of course you can tell. If you are looking for a high standard, you should choose something else. If you're looking for decent accommodation for little money, this is the place for you.

Really big room for 5 people, breakfast included a plus, great location to be able to walk to main cathedral, fountain etc.

Air conditioning struggled, run down facilities such as lights not working in room, pay extra for a towel but paying €140 a night for family is ridiculous. I just used small towel provided out of principal. If you are late after 9PM they will charge €20 until 10:30PM but luckily we arrived just before. (I think that's fair considering you make a booking under the conditions, however there was a huge car accident and big delays and after hours check in should be offered really). I would personally prefer to pay the extra €20-40 and stay at the nicer hotels in two separate rooms as a family than here again.

Very clean for a hostel, simple and practical. It's at a great location, and the breakfast (If one is patient) is a huge plus.

The lockers under each bed are quite flimsy. They don't feel that secure. I"d definitely recommend they change the locks.

It's at only 5 minutes walk from the train station, it's got also a small but private parking place in the back for people arriving by car. Rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Great place if you want to visit the city and go to the mountains around It.

No working fan, couldn’t get and extra when we asked. The room said to have a balcony, but that was not correct. It was a shared terrace with 4-6 other rooms leading out to it, meaning we couldn’t keep the door open during the night making the stay almost not possible.

good location, close to the center, to the train station and to supermarkets. it was clean and the staff was nice. breakfast in the morning is included. very good value for money

had to pay 10€ for late check-in because I came 10 past 9. that was 10min after the official closing of the reception.

Probably the only hostel in Trento, it's good enough

It's close to the city center as well as to the train and bus station. Breakfast is definitely a good value for your money. For your stay, including the day of departure you Will have free access to the public transports on the whole Trentino area, just by downloading and signing up to an app. The locker is big enough for a trolley, a medium-sized backpack as well as other small things that don't fit the baggage or you just don't want to put in it every time.

Breakfast room opens at 7.30 am which could be late for early people who want to enjoy the day as much as possible relying on public transportation. Besides, during my three days of stay, the guy in charge to open the room has always been some minutes late, once they actually had to wake him up (I suppose he sleeps in the hostel). Being close to the station as well as to a fast-food area with some ethnic mini-markets there is a chance you could meet some untrustworthy people, so beware, especially during night hours. At least during my stay there were many families and grown-up people, besides the common area is very small (even though there is an outside area with some chairs and tables) and there is no kitchen or fridge, meaning that aside from the guests in your room and a little time you could have at breakfast there are no much chances to socialize, despite it's an International Youth Hostel. Wi-Fi works only on the ground floor. In any case it's probably the only hostel in Trento so you won't have much choice if you are determined to stay in the city overnight. The real alternative would be to go somewhere else and to visit Trento just as a day trip.

Comfortable

The room was very large and adequate. The bed and bedsheets were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and sufficient as well.

After cleaning of the bathroom, the soaps and bodywash they left for us weren't enough, given that all 6 occupants in the room were present. Also, the breakfast was enough, but it could've had a bit more choice of items.

I had everything I needed for a one night stay: comfortable bed, a small towel, shower and nutricious breakfast. There were lockable cases where you can leave your things. I liked that it was almost in a centre

Hostel staff are super friendly, breakfast is great and the room was clean and comfortable.

The wifi didn't work very well except in the entry way. And the location, while super convenient, is not quiet at night. There's a fairly busy road. But there are blinds on the windows that prevent light from coming in. Overall great value!

Very clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast is really good! Definitely worth it for the price. This is definitely a traditional youth hostel so dont expect something like the newer ones we are seeing today. This hostel does its job well.

Soggiorno a Trento per evento sportivo.

Posizione, pulizia, nella camera da 5 bagno in camera, area con due tavoli, microonde e lavandino. Colazione ricca e abbondante. Mi è piaciuto che non c’è la tv.

Se proprio proprio devo trovare un difetto é un po’ internet, che non va benissimo.

Camera spaziosa, pulita ed accogliente a due passi dal centro. Colazione con vasta scelta. Personale disponibile e molto gentile.

Il climatizzatore aveva una luce led molto fastidiosa di notte che solo il personale poteva spegnere. Nonostante svariati solleciti nessuno è intervenuto e questo ha decisamente disturbato le nostri notti. L’orario troppo stringente per la colazione (fino alle 9,00)
