Great location and a great apartment.

The location is great, so close to the centre of this lovely town. The property had everything we needed and more. We were very comfortable and able to relax.

The stairs were fine for us (early to mid 60s), though someone older or less mobile would struggle.

The apartment was tastefully decorated and furnished, with everything we could need for a short stay. it was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The stairs were a bit tricky for two older people, and although the low beams were beautiful, for two people who are over 1.78 metres tall they were difficult to avoid in some areas 😄

Un gîte magnifiquement restauré et très bien situé pour la visite de Saint-Valery-en-Caux

Le gîte, situé sous les toits au deuxième et dernier étage de l'immeuble, bénéficie d'un vaste séjour bien éclairé, grâce à de larges velux. Le gîte est d'une propreté impeccable et a été récemment restauré (poutres apparentes peintes, isolation, ouvertures...). Il est décoré avec goût et élégance : murs blancs, nombreux objets de décoration, tapis, rideaux, éclairage moderne, avec un assortiment judicieux des matières et des coloris... La cuisine est moderne et bénéficie des équipements nécessaires et en parfait état. Les deux chambres disposent de leur propre salle d'eau et offrent tout le confort souhaité. Les explications permettant l'accès au gîte sont claires et bien documentées. Autre atout supplémentaire non négligeable : le gîte est situé à proximité du port, du marché, des points de départs des circuits de promenade, et, surtout, à deux pas de l'excellent et incontournable musée de Saint-Valery-en-Caux dit "Maison Henri IV"... avec des places de parking très accessibles à proximité ! L'emplacement du gîte est vraiment idéal, on ne pouvait rêver mieux !

Gemütliche Wohnung nahe am Meer

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Zu Fuß ist es nicht weit zur Bäckerei, zum Hafen und zum Meer. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Eine Kleinigkeit: es gab keine Topfdeckel

Die Unterkunft war mit Einschränkungen gut.

Die Unterkunft hat eine hervorragende Lage mitten in der Altstatt, nahe zum Meer, nahe zu Geschäften und Restaurants. Sie ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und schön eingerichtet.

Man kann die Unterkunft eigentlich nur Leuten empfehlen, die es gut schaffen können auch eine sehr enge Wendeltreppe mit Gepäck zu bewältigen. Außerdem sind innerhalb der Wohnung einige Balken vorhanden, deren Präsenz man dauernd beachten muss, wenn man sich nicht dauernd den Kopf stoßen will. Das gilt für Personen ab etwa 1,75m Größe. Die Arbeitsfläche in der Küche ist leider deutlich zu klein. Für die Töpfe gibt es insgesamt genau einen Deckel. Außerdem läuft die Lüftung im Bad ohne Unterlass, was aber nicht bedeutet, dass beide Toiletten dabei wenigstens entlüftet werden. Die eine der Toiletten hat leider überhaupt keine Entlüftung außer durch Öffnen der Türe in einen Schlafraum hinein. Der zweite Schlafraum hat überhaupt keine Ablage oder auch nur einen Haken.
