Absolutely superb!

This apartment is outside of town in a suburb called Bierstadt, but the transport options are so excellent that this was never a problem. If you come without a car, as we did, you will find buses which run every 5 minutes from the Poststrasse stop a 3 minute walk up Limes Strasse from the apartment. It takes about 10 minutes to get into the centre of town and a few minutes more to the station. We had the downstairs apartment , Smilla 1, with three steps up to the front door. There is a parking spot right outside the door. The apartment itself is lovely, always cosy and warm and well laid out. The beds were very comfortable and it was a real bonus to have two bathrooms in this 2 bedroom apartment. The lounge room is comfortable and there are TV's in each room. The kitchen had everything we could possibly have needed. There is a Pizzeria ( very reasonably priced) on one side of the apartment and a supermarket on the other side. The laundry downstairs is free of charge and everything worked easily and well. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

Mixed feelings

The shower room was nicely appointed including the ceiling decoration and good quality toilet paper was provided. The kitchen had more than enough utensils, though I could not start the dishwasher. I would have liked a few Nespresso cups on a welcome tray. A neighbourhood supermarket is next door, so I got a pack of those. On the microwave stood a framed list of do's and don'ts. One line reads that upon departure trash will be disposed of by staff, but again, the arrival message included a warning that it needs to be taken out, which causes confusion! I found a picolo of sekt. That was a nice surprise.

I did not like the anonymity of the place. Access is by key safe. Before arrival communication was swift. Once there less so. Another dislike is that access to the apartment is from 5pm. I requested an earlier time, which was granted, as the accommodation had already been cleaned. The key safe code was given, but there was no key in the safe. Repeated telephone calls were not answered. At 14.30 hrs the cleaners arrived to wipe the floor and change the bed linen, I was told. Unfortunately, it did not smell fresh. The bed linen and towels are grey, which may be trendy but in my opinion unsuitable for the hospitality business. Pity that there was only one centimeter of hair/body gel provided. Whereas the apartment itself is comfortable enough, my main gripe is the parking. After arriving I received a message that parking was not included. I should park in the surrounding streets. What? The venue is advertised with parking. I drove around twice and parked somewhere unsuitable, in a narrow busy street. It felt like a bad start and certainly spoiled my enjoyment. The next day I used public transport. When I returned after my day's business was done I noticed there was an still parking space like the day before and I decided to find the car and bring it back. For the remaining days it was in no one's way, yet the inconvenience left a bitter taste. Will I stay there again? I'm sorry to say that I will not.

Great place to stay.

I stayed at Smilla multiple times over a three month period, it was one of my favorite places to stay. The location is convenient with safe private parking. The person that manages operations is easy to reach and very quick to respond to questions. The rooms are all nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.

the bed is quite cozy

the locks indeed frustrated us, both the room lock and building lock. we have to try many times to try to open every door! and finally found out that we had to pull the the room door very hard to open the room lock and switch the key to another direction very hard and then back to the normal direction meanwhile pull the door very hard to open the building door! how ridiculously! meanwhile, there is no cook hood in the kitchen, so very hard for cooking… toilet is also too small, things on the shelf above the toilet are very easy to accidentally fall into the toilet…

Beautiful amenities with all details clearly planned and well thought out in provision. Very friendly and helpful owner who was available if needed and provided excellent advice about the area. Very comfortable space to stay in, clean and modern interior.

War in Ordnung.

Das Apartment war schön eingerichtet und vollständig ausgestattet. Der Host hat auf Fragen schnell und direkt geantwortet.

Die Kissen waren viel zu flach, sodass der Kopf eingesunken ist. Geschirrspüler hat nicht funktioniert bzw. sich nicht eingeschaltet. Zudem stand neben der Küche ein verschlossenes Glas, das voller Schimmel war!

Total gemütliches, durchdacht eingerichtetes Apartment, blitzsauber und die hochwertige Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, es wurde an alles gedacht. Habe mich selten so wohl gefühlt! Organisatorisches war absolut unkompliziert, bei Rückfragen war der Ansprechpartner jederzeit spontan erreichbar, der Kontakt unglaublich nett. Mein Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt! Ich hoffe dass bei meinem nächsten Wiesbaden-Besuch wieder ein Smilla Apartment verfügbar ist. Danke an das tolle Team!

Eine tolle Apartament

Muy mejorable

El apartamento está en una calle con muchos negocios, tiene justo debajo un supermercado, hay una pizzeria, una panaderia muy buena. Tiene parking en alguno de los apartamentos. El tamaño es bueno, y el que alquilé yo tenía una terraza bastante grande. Está bastante equipado, incluyendo lavanderi comun en el sotano.

Lo mas impactante fue que el apartamento supuestamente lo habían limpiado pero me encontré la papelera del baño llena (y muy sucia), el cenicero de la terraza hasta arriba de colillas y el lavavajillas sucio. Además, no me habían dejado papel higiénico!! Y llegué un domingo a la noche cuando todo estaba cerrado. Alquilé el apartamento tres semanas por trabajo, y la verdad es que habría sido de agradecer poder tener una limpieza en el medio. El apartamento no dispone de nada para limpiar, absolutamente nada. Tuve que comprar una bayeta y un trapo de cocina. Estaría bien tener una escoba, y alguna cosa mas. Solo hay un sofa en la cocina junto a la mesa de comer, yo creo que estaría mejor con una mesa ms pequeña y al menos un par de sillas para comer. Igualmente, para tres semanas sería de agradecer cambio de toallas y sabanas, yo tuve que lavarlas abajo en la lavanderia

Excelente alojamiento, muy cómodo y con lo necesario para una corta estancia, lo mejor de todo es que tiene aire acondicionado cosa que no es muy común en Alemania, el anfitrión se demostró atento en todo momento, a 5 metros hay un supermercado pequeño ahí puedes encontrar algunas cosas para comer, la comunicación con el centro de la ciudad es fácil hay varios autobús que pasan alrededor , volvía alojarme sin dudas

Tolles, neu renoviertes Apartment!

Tolles Apartment (Smilla 4), welches neu renoviert und modern eingerichtet ist. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und bietet unter anderem einen großen Kühlschrank, ein Kochfeld, eine Spülmaschine, ein gemütliches Sofa mit Esstisch und eine große Terrasse. Das Schlafzimmer ist geräumig und das Badezimmer (mit Dusche) hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top, da in der direkten Umgebung ein Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants zu finden sind. Auch die Anbindung zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bushaltestelle) ist super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und möchten uns auch noch einmal bei Michael (Vermieter) bedanken. Er war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. :)

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren zu viert und haben uns in der Wohnung richtig wohl gefühlt. Sie ist eine gut gelungene Mischung aus stylisch und gemütlich. Die Küchen-Ausstattung war für uns genau richtig (Spülmaschine ;)), aber auch insgesamt war alles da, was wir gebraucht haben. Es gibt in fussläufiger Nähe genügend Auswahl an Restaurants, wenn man wie wir, keine Lust auf Kochen hat. Und wenn man selbst kochen mag, kann man entspannt nebenan im Netto einkaufen. Die Wohnung war für uns einfach perfekt und zudem war der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter super nett und unkompliziert.
