About this house rental
A Baltic Sea vacation between the beach and the nature reserve
Just about 100 meters from the fine-sand natural beach, our cozy Swedish-style house is situated in a quiet location right on the edge of the nature reserve. With 98 m² of living space and three bedrooms, it accommodates up to 7 people—ideal for families, couples, or a vacation with friends.
The two-story stone house with wood siding is situated in a small, colorful vacation home community right on the edge of the forest. From the upper floor, you can partially see across the dike to the Baltic Sea. The beach, nature, and tranquility begin practically right at your doorstep.
We took over the house at the end of 2022 and have since extensively modernized and refurnished it step by step. This includes a completely renovated bathroom, a new large south-facing terrace, new beds and furniture, new roller blinds, and numerous other design details. In 2026, we added a completely new kitchen and a fresh coat of paint. Our goal is for the house to feel not like an utilitarian vacation rental, but like a real home on the Baltic Sea.
Living, cooking, and enjoying time together
The spacious living area combines an open kitchen with a dining area and a cozy sitting area. The wood-burning stove creates a pleasant atmosphere, especially on cooler days, making the house a vacation destination for every season.
The kitchen, completely renovated in 2026, is intentionally well-equipped. In addition to plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, and pans, you’ll find many items that aren’t always standard in a vacation rental—from a blender and baking pans to storage containers and practical kitchen gadgets. Our guests particularly appreciate this comprehensive selection of amenities: On vacation, you shouldn’t have to realize right away what’s missing.
Sauna and new bathroom
On the first floor is the modern and spacious bathroom, which was completely redesigned in 2023. From here, you have direct access to your private sauna—especially pleasant after a long walk on the beach or a windy fall or winter day on the Baltic Sea.
The three bedrooms and an additional restroom with a sink are located on the upper floor.
Sun on the large south-facing terrace
A particular favorite spot is the large south-facing terrace, newly built in 2025. Thanks to its south-facing orientation, you can enjoy the sun here from your morning coffee to a glass of wine in the evening—and not just in the height of summer.
At the back of the house is another small terrace with an adjacent lawn right next to the nature reserve.
There are 2–3 parking spaces available right next to the house.
Just a few steps to the Baltic Sea
The natural beach, which is free of visitor’s tax, is only about 100 meters away on foot. The Seepark playground is also located there, which is especially convenient for families with children.
Seepark Süssau is located on the Bay of Lübeck and combines a beach vacation with plenty of nature and tranquility. To the north, kilometers of trails along the Baltic Sea and the impressive cliffs invite you to go for walks and bike rides. On a clear day, you can see the island of Fehmarn on the horizon.
Whether it’s a summer vacation at the beach, relaxing days on the patio, or a getaway with a sauna and fireplace during the cooler months: Our Swedish-style house is a place where we feel right at home, and that’s exactly what we want to offer our guests.

Schöne, überschaubare Ferienhausanlage direkt am Meer. Wir waren die ersten, die sich in der neuer Einrichtung "lümmeln" durfte. Sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Mit Kamin und großem Wohlfühlfaktor. Kleine Anregung: Bei diesem Preis würde ich mir die Bettwäsche und Handtücher als Service inclusive wünschen - das kennen wir von vielen anderen Ferienhäusern bisher nicht so. Zumal der Strom und Wasser auch noch gesondert abgerechnet werden. Aber sonst 5 Sterne***** alles gut. Vielen Dank!
