Located 5 min from Old Tunnel State Park and the famous Alamo Springs Cafe, 8 min from Bankersmith and 2 new wineries, 11 miles from Luckenbach, and 14 miles from central Fredericksburg.

Very quaint cottage with an amazing 40 mile view, as promised. Deer and a variety of birds were seen and enjoyed.Beds were very comfortable and a/c was very quiet. Not disappointed!!

Very nice! Country charm with great views. We loved seeing all the stars after the light pollution of a big city. We also saw deer, birds and a chubby armadillo!

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet with the location.The morning breakfast sunrise view and the deer created the peace and quiet we were looking for.

The overall home was adorable however I was highly disappointed that the outdoor tub was filthy as I wanted to use it, but did not want to go to the effort of having to clean it myself to then use it when I was supposed to be relaxing, I didn’t go there to clean.The neighbors were the worst part up until almost midnight arguing and yelling and revving vehicles so loud you can hear in the house and then tearing down the street multiple times said vehicles, when that finally ended and we were able to sleep. We were then woke up at six in the morning with them yelling and arguing and repeating the shenanigans. Would not recommend if you want a quiet peaceful place to stay as the neighbors ruin that.
