Enjoy sweeping views over the Caribbean east to Norman Island and beyond at ‘Ada by the Sea’, a modern, well appointed four bedroom/four bath pool villa overlooking Friis Bay in the Coral Bay area of St John. Just a few minutes drive to either the town of Coral Bay (shopping/dining) or several beautiful national park beaches and trails. 15 minutes from St John’s world renown North Shore beaches, Ada by the Sea’s location provides convenient access to all of what makes St. John special. Fully equipped with Tesla solar for unexpected outages.

The villa has a paved driveway. The front door opens to the Great Room which includes a dining area with seating for 8, a comfortable living room and a separate media area as well as a gourmet kitchen with custom tile floor, granite counters, island seating area, wine fridge, & stainless steel appliances. The well appointed ‘cooks kitchen’ will ensure that you have the right tool for the job should you decide to ‘eat in’ rather than enjoy some of the wonderful island restaurants. Feel like dining ‘al fresco’? The outdoor kitchen located on the pool deck has everything you need for a perfect meal—large BBQ, sink, fridge and ice maker—plus an outdoor dining and lounge area for entertaining. Outside of the great room is a large deck overlooking the pool and the ocean with comfortable seating – a great place for a cocktail or morning coffee. The usually steady ocean breezes mean mosquitos are rarely a problem here. If you are lucky enough to be here on a Thursday ‘in season’ take a short stroll down to Miss Lucy’s for their famous open mic night or listen to their music from your deck.

All four equal size bedrooms have AC, en-suite baths, private decks with seating areas and large closets with ample shelving and hanging space for your belongings. Two upper bedrooms are accessed via closed breezeways from either side of the great room making it a perfect spot for parents with younger children. The two lower, pool level rooms are accessed via outdoor stairways from each breezeway. Bedrooms are arranged with a queen suite both upstairs and down and two XL twin (convertible to king) suites (one up and one down) – the bedroom set up insures privacy for all. Each room has a unique feel.

**For 1-4 guests, the lower two bedrooms will be locked off with no other renters. For 5-8 guests, you will have access to all 4 bedrooms. All 4 rooms available for parties less than 5 for an added fee. Please inquire.**

WiFi ensures you can stay connected if you need to. Games for all ages are available for evenings or should rain be in the forecast. Access to the pool is gated for family safety.

Enjoy your days with hiking the many national park trails and reefs, boating or exploring some of the many colonial ruins, take in a morning yoga class (or arrange for a class at ‘home’ ) or, simply lie by the pool! No matter what your choice, Ada by the Sea will relax and rejuvenate!

Power is provided to St. John via an underground cable from St. Thomas. Our power supply is not always reliable and power outages are not uncommon. They are typically short lived, but can last for a few hours. These outages can happen with or without warning from the island’s power company, known as WAPA. We will do our best to keep you comfortable and informed. Antares strives to make your villa stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. Please understand that power outages are out of our control. Please note, water will not work during an outage. There are no refunds for power loss.
