Casa Larisa

We were travelling to Bucharest for a wedding and stayed overnight in Arad on half way. The room we stayed in was very spacious, newly furnished, and everything appeared clean. We especially appreciated the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in (and probably the biggest as well). The blackout curtains and the air conditioning in the room were also excellent. There is a shared, well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, as well as complimentary tea and coffee. Although the accommodation is on the ground floor and our room faced the street, it was very well soundproofed. Parking is available on the street and can be conveniently paid for using a local app, which can also be used for parking throughout Romania. Information about the parking fees and the app is displayed on every parking sign as well as in the app.

To get into the accommodation, we had to call the owner, who, in poor English, explained how to use the key fob to open the entrance door. It took us a while to figure it out. Written instructions would have been much more helpful, especially as we arrived late in the evening. The room felt more like a teenager's bedroom than guest accommodation. There were still personal belongings in the wardrobes. Some sections were locked with a padlock, while others containing personal items were left accessible. Because of that we had to hang our clothes on the wardrobe door. We did not mind shared bathroom, but it looked nothing like the photos. There was a pile of wet laundry that smelled musty, and although the bathtub appeared clean, it had permanent stains. There was also nowhere to hang a towel or put personal belongings while showering. The electrical installation in the bathroom raised concerns about its safety. The toilet was very small, the door latch did not work properly, needet to be kept locked at all times and a thick carpet blocked the door from opening fully. There was a small sink, but nowhere to hang or place a towel after washing your hands. The room contained a diffuser with an extremely strong scent that could not be aired out, even after we moved it into the hallway. The smell was so intense that it triggered me a migraine. The entrance through the inner courtyard appeared to remain unlocked even at night and could be opened from the courtyard side simply by using the handle. At around 8 a.m., someone knocked persistently until we opened the door. It was a strange man who spoke only Romanian and continued speaking even after we told him we spoke English, Hindi, or Czech and a bit of German. If this had happened in the evening, we would probably have stayed somewhere else.

Ador clădirile istorice ale orașului și mi am dorit să locuiesc intr o asemenea clădire.cat despre cazare condițiile au fost super, apartamentul foarte curat.in bucătărie am gasit toate cele necesare pentru gătit.cel mai tare m am bucurat de aparatul de cafea pus la dispoziția noastră în mod gratuit de către proprietară.

Mi as fi dorit să găsesc veioze la pat și draperiile sa fii fost mai groase să nu pătrundă lumina.de la răsăritul soarelui și inclusiv noaptea din cauza iluminatului stradal nu era deloc întuneric în camera . în Rest totul super .

Camera spațioasă si moderna ,la fel si baia.

Amplasamentul la strada al ferestrelor,zgomot începând de la 5.30 dimineața. Accesul spre camera destul de anevoios.
