Nice getaway at lake Cowichan

Beautiful area at a resort along Lake Cowichan.

We knew we were traveling on the off-season, but we were the only people in the resort, so it seemed a little odd. But the beds were comfortable, and we had a great time. Would love to come back another time when we can make the most of all the facilities.

Cute little cottage close to Lake Cowichan.

Great location on a small lake. Close to the town of Lake Cowichan which is what we were looking for. Cute little cottage that we found to be comfortable and clean.

Wifi in the unit would have been helpful.

It felt safe, family friendly, easy access to local facilities/restaurants/coffee shops. It was very cosy, nicely decorated, comfortable temperature, nice addition with the electric fireplace, the beds were comfortable. We watched movies and played board games. It was good to have those available.

The only suggestion we have is to add in the binder a section about check out, including the 10 AM check out time. I looked back at my emails and flipped through the pages of the binder but could not find a check out time so we assumed it was 11. It was a bit of a scramble when we received the message in the morning that it was 10.

Lakeside fairy garden

The setting was idyllic, it was super quiet and peaceful. We loved that the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The house itself was perfect and the backyard was a fairy garden. Loved our stay!!

I did wish there were a fan in the primary bedroom but it's not a huge deal

My comment is that a lot more instructions have to be given in order to get to this place. There was no one at the gate to let us in and no number to call to get assistance. It was only by chance that we saw someone standing outside that we got through the gate and the description failed to mention that it was a park model in a trailer park, not a four bedroom house. No stores or restaurants nearby.

Excellent séjour, on pourrait y rester de nouveau.

Le logement était très bien et bien équipé. L’endroit est calme et très beau. Très bonne communication.

Propreté des draps et des serviettes. Cependant nous avons pu avoir des draps propres très rapidement (bonne communication et action rapide des propriétaires). Les 100$ de frais de ménage ne semblent pas justifiés… le service de nettoyage n’a pas fait correctement son travail. Cela a été signalé et pris en compte par les propriétaires.
