"Amazing building converted to a modern hostel. Alvaro in reception was very attentive and kind. Balconies in the room with great views. Separated toilet, shower and basin inside the room; super clean ..."

Very comfortable bed
The bathrooms are inside the room with no proper noise isolation

Fantastic location right next to the main train station and art museum. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the hostel is very modern. The breakfast buffet was good
The bathroom was located in the room which was convenient but also not great when I needed to leave early to get to the airport as I didn’t want to use the facilities and wake anyone up. There was some black mould on the roof of the shower too

The location was very convenient, close to the train station and the Reina Sofía Museum. However, I really disliked the surrounding area. It was honestly one of the least pleasant neighborhoods I experienced in Madrid. The streets felt dirty, the atmosphere was strange, and I simply did not enjoy being there. While the proximity to the train station is a plus, I would not recommend this location for a short stay if your main goal is to explore and enjoy Madrid. On the positive side, the room was clean and the staff were fine. Overall, the accommodation itself was decent, but the neighborhood really affected my experience.
