Great location to stay when exploring Madrid. Room is not big but it felt comfortable.
There was a window in our room that was in front of some sort of balcony and we heard when someone(presumably the staff) walking there and doing laundry. The window had blinds and is made of patterned glass, so it was not a big deal.

A very simple pensión on the 6th floor (there is a lift). Exactly what I needed for an overnight work trip, right next to Atocha station, comfy bed, desk, sink, mirror and clothes hangers in the room and a shared bathroom. No frills, all clean and decent. The lady on reception was friendly, clear and helpful, she lent me an alarm clock as I was traveling for work and afraid I wouldn't wake in time for the job. Had a key to the street door so can come and go at any time as it seems reception closes at some hour. Simple and friendly, thumbs up.
I also saw it was oposite to the Reina Sofia Museum - so that's a plus!
